Ever since my son passed away in 2004 I have done blue lights on my tree and used all of his ornaments that were given to him every year. I went for the "Blue Christmas" theme. This year I've decided to go a different route and been inspired by you to buy a flocked tree and do the white christmas trees. Thank you Shannon for inspiring me to go a different way.

Make a “Christmas earring” tree. Like that last tree and use Christmas earrings you find at the drug stores, $ tree, etc. and hang them as the ornaments. Super cute idea for grandkids to give to grandmas. A tree they made and a pair of earrings to start, then they can add a new pair of Christmas earrings as a gift every year. I keep mine on my dresser.

This year I got green trees which I'm excited about, but I'm thinking about getting more trees to do that adorable gnome and the star wreath! This video was such fun! Thanks! Btw, our tree will have a traditional, old-fashioned theme, filled with old glass family ornaments (some have survived 65+ years) , small framed pictures of family members who have passed, and an heirloom tree skirt! 🎄

I love my colors, blue and silver... I use white doves with real feathers perched all over the tree making it look like snow and only blue, clear or a mix of blue and clear lights. NO TINSEL! Instead I made “dripping sparkles” by threading blue and clear crystal beads with a silver bell at the bottom and I hang them at the ends of the branches like real icicles. Every year I add to my blue/silver/white homemade ornaments... last year I found all these 2”-3” bisque dolls with real hair. I bought a craft pack of wings and attached them to the dolls and now they look like baby angels or cherub. It’s so serene and beautiful and romantic. I have 2 white big trees .... the " fancy ," one will be in the living. I add pink lights w/ pink and white ornaments!!! And deco the rest of the living room with white with iced ornaments. AKA ... glue and Epson salt ! The other one , in the dinning room. Is our ' family " tree . When our first grand child was born. We started buying an ornament per child per year . They are now 26 and 1 is 20 . We also have 5 greatgrand children. So .. needed less to say ... this tree is FULL of all kinds of ornaments. And I love it ! I'm truly blessed!

I love your snowflake wreath!! Never seen it before. It looks so beautiful. I want to do one! Thw tall tree was cute too, you could have added the single branches on the empty space to make it look fuller, but it was cute anyway. I liked it too👍

My smaller tree will be the "RED TRUCK " theme and my big tree will be burgundy to go with my living room couch and loveseat has burgundy touches in it. I'm in my 60's now so I have a few different things I can do with my tree without spending anymore money I do go after Christmas and stock up on some things I am going to do the following year that's the way I have done it since my 20's. I also buy Christmas gifts and paper for the next year anything I am running short of I make a list of what I might need and I think ahead of what I will do my doors in. I stocked up on Trucks at Easter and Valentines day because I knew I was going to use Trucks in part of my house. I am making wreaths with Trucks and a big bow on one then I have some the mini trucks doing another for the backdoor with them all around and something between them haven't decided yet what I will use but hopefully it will be cute. I also bought some different kinds of ribbons one has Trucks one is jute and the others are plain colors so will have plenty to make my bows with 😊❤

#2: I have a tube that’s like a paper towel core, but a bit bigger and sturdier. I think I’ll make a pot for the tree to stand in. It might be pretty to put the paint on a brush and sprinkle/splatter it on the greens. (I use an old toothbrush and run my thumb over the bristles) All of these are SO PRETTY! 🥰

For the wood sign you could also put some Burlap stuffed with batting and Sissle rope at the bottom which would also be cute make it look like it's sitting in a little sack. Or wrap some small Styrofoam blocks in pretty fabric and make presents for under the tree too.

I live up in the Rocky Mountains and this year I’m trying to make a wild life tree by using wooden bears and deers. Also LED short candles. Home made pop corn stringers to put around the tree. White mini lights deep in the middle out to the edge of the tree to give it a 3d look.

On project #3 The tree in the bucket @6:59. You can use the left over pieces of styrofoam and cut them into square shapes, wrap them in scrap pieces wrapping paper, tissue paper, or news paper, with ribbon or twine tied around them to create small presents to either place in the top of the bucket at the base of the tree or in among the branches like ornaments. You can also add a small set of lights to this tree and hide the battery pack inside the bucket.😉👍
