Hi Bethany! Thank you so much for all your videos, they are so helpful! I think you may have saved Christmas 🤣 I am a super beginner crafter so I have a couple questions; - For the wreath I’m trying to figure out how many of each size you used, and I got a little confused. So far I got you used 12 packages total: 1 Large Green (7 ornaments) 1 Large Red (7 ornaments) 2 Peppermint (10 ornaments) 2 Swirl (10 ornaments) How many packages of medium Red How many packages medium green? How many packages small red? How many packages of small green? I have also seen people take off the top of the ornaments and hot glue them back on, what is your opinion on this? I also saw other people wrapping the entire noodle with wired ribbon before they glued the ornaments on. Is that step needed? Have you had any issues with the ornaments falling off? Thank you so much again!
In the uk we call them baubles.

I loved it all. The tree I would of never thought of making one out of a pool noodle. Don't apologize to us for how you talk. I am from Florida and have a southern accent. I personally dont think I do. I understand you just fine. For the ones whom are constantly watching your videos to correct your speech, apparantly dont have a life. So don't let them bother you. Hey Bethany, pool noodles are polyethylene so a heat gun ($10 at Harbor freight) used ever so slightly should allow you to bend and will also melt it enough to hold itself in a lolly pop shape. No hot glue or zip ties needed.

These are amazing!!! Thank you for taking the time to put this together.
"Do it on a Dime" did the lollipop this year as well.... she had the tip to only hot glue on the duct tape (so only glue tape to tape.... hope that makes sense). She also held the roll together with rubber bands as she glued. Waited for all to set. Then cut off rubber bands. Hope that helps for any future crafting. Love your crafts! I've seen many videos and you come up with such cute ideas! I also appreciate your tutorials (very clear and thorough). Happy Holidays! And Merry Christmas!

Hi Brenda
I love the little tree! I'm definitely gonna make some! I think it would take less garland if you glued the pool noodles together first into the tree shape then glued the garland around the form. That way you won't have wasted garland in the middle of the tree that will never be seen.

I always have a good stash of pool noodles in my craft room because there are so many things you can do with them. I love a bargain so I always wait until the end of the season and go to Dollar General and I usually get them for $.10 each. They may not be red green or white but I usually end up covering the ones I use with some type of fabric or paint anyway so it really doesn’t matter.

I get what you're trying to convey, but it's not always rude to correct someone. I think it's more in the delivery. If a person is trying to be condescending and patronizing, then it IS rude. I personally like the way Bethany says ornament. Just because someone is an adult doesn't mean they don't need correcting.

The way you correct someone is all about tone of voice and how you say it. My son is about to be 9 and we are all learning how to use our tone of voice. Especially in a marriage we get so used to talking to them a certain way, we dont realize our kids pick up on it. So my husband and I are trying our hardest to correct ourselves. We only realized when our kid pointed out our mistakes. Just saying y'all. Esther
I love it that you show what you tried that didn't work! Makes it more relatable.

@@alyssamonroe2159 no one thinks “ornament” is pronounced “ordament”. That’s sounds like someone who either has nasal congestion or a speech impediment would say it inadvertently. Yes, it’s rude to point it out.
@alyssamonroe2159
3 жыл бұрын
@@BoringTroublemaker it’s not rude to correct someone. We correct kids when they are wrong so that they can learn so why is it wrong to correct adults? Like above commenter said it’s all about delivery. If someone is saying it in a nice and respectful way I don’t see the problem. Someone who has a problem with being corrected is someone who doesn’t want to grow in life. Just because you’re an adult doesn’t mean you can’t be uninformed or uneducated on something. Also you’d be surprised how many people think certain words are pronounced differently than from how they actually are pronounced. I know so many people that think chic is pronounced “chick” instead of “sheek”
@BoringTroublemaker
3 жыл бұрын
@@alyssamonroe2159 did you even read the comment? I didn’t say not to correct people on obvious mispronunciations but this is clearly not the case. Maybe it’s because I watched my little sister come home from school crying because her teacher kept “correcting her” over and over again in front of class when she had a severe speech impediment and was in speech therapy but ended up getting bullied incessantly by her classmates. If you don’t know a person intimately to understand if there is anything that might be causing a mispronunciation of something like “ordament” then keep your “correcting” to yourself - it’s completely rude and self righteous
You had me laughing thru the whole video - you're too cute. Love all of your ideas and Cooper!
