It’s a good idea to buy a metal capsules for your keys, that comes filled with matches and flint. Another thing you should always have “just in case,” are the miniature bricks 🧱 that fire 🔥 up instantly, when you put a match to it. The fire starting bricks 🧱 are miniature so they easily fit in a backpack. 🎒 I am always prepared for the “what if we need this,” because you never know what can go wrong when camping or hiking. Better to have something and not need it, than not have it and need it and wish you had it! My husband use to say I overpacked and would be bothered by this. But one day he needed something you wouldn’t think of packing and said… I wish I had this. I don’t remember what it was, however I knew I brought it. I went to the truck, picked it up and said… is this what you wished you’d had… he looked at me, stared laughing AND said… I will Never again say you overpack and was grateful I packed for the “what if we need it.” Lol 😆😉
