I used to listen to this when I was in college. Ah memories!

So many people complementing Gotye and Kimbra for their talent, which they should because they're beyond stellar as musicians. but let's not forget that it's TronicBox who remixed this song and made it Synthwave. that's right, the 80s remix of STIUTK belongs to him, and his original release video of this remix got taken down by copyright so he can't even capitalise on his work, so let's not forget him in our round of cheers.

Bought a can of baked beans in Stop and Shop in 1988, this song was playing, I caught the cashiers eye, we looked away, looked back, looked away again, bought my beans at self check out.....memories

being born in '73 and having grown up in '80s I feel a sort of pain when I listen to this beautiful version. It's genious and terribly nostalgic

this song is very addictive....i used to listen to this song in my childhood . 1800 best year of all time

Ok ok guys listen we got to go back to the roots now my grandad use to tell me that my great great grandad use to listen to a very old version of the song on his plantation were he would gather everyone for miles and gather around a big bonfire and have a old banjo concert reminiscing about that one person that they use to know
