Gotthard Pass (south) | Switzerland raw runs [#6]
The mighty Gotthard has seen the Tour de Suisse come through at least 35 times over the years, but this day it Taylor and I who made the pilgrimage to the historic mountain pass. We didn't have the best wind down there and you can see Taylor being blown around a little, but overall it was a fantastic run down. On screen data is taken from my bike (follow cam).

12:20 I love the clip through the town. The colors, the lighting, the town, the clock, it's just perfect.
That Speed was Incredible! Insanely Good Views and the Cinematography was Picture Perfect!👌
Wow, I am amazed by the breathtaking views captured in this video! The natural beauty is simply stunning and truly awe-inspiring. The vibrant colors of the landscape, the crystal-clear waters, and the majestic mountains all come together to create a scene that is truly unforgettable. I can only imagine how incredible it must have been to witness these sights in person. It is clear that the creators of this video have a great eye for capturing the beauty of Switzerland. This video is a testament to the incredible natural wonders that can be found in this country, and it reminds us of the importance of preserving these precious resources for future generations to enjoy.

Yeah. Too bad that his eyes are most of the time on Garmin, or what device is he using for recording, s-o the watts are there. Numbers are more important.

@@MelculdinAlaska More likely checking the map and the bends coming up. Quite common for cyclists if they've never ridden those roads before.

I mean the edditing does a lot of work as well :D Colors aren't like that IRL, evne on a very good day.
This is probably the gold standard of high speed descending. We are looking at history in the making, and very few people will top this level. Salud Safa & Taylor.
Coffee and Safa - The perfect riding fix for a rainy sunday.
The channel rocks. This video shows the sheer beauty of Switzerland. Road look smooth, the sky was clear, and the green color from the trees were memorizing to look at. You have a great camera crew that take professional quality video. Keep up the hard work.
Great video... No boring comments, and no lame music. Just the sweet sound of shifting gears...!
Stunning and deliciously entertaining. Thankyou for your time and persistence in making this. Gratitude P.T🤠🦘
Really really love the stats in the beginning as well as on the left. So clean.
Swiss infrastructure has a surreal quality to it sometimes. Blasting down this wide open descent, free of semi trucks and potholes. This migt be my favourite swiss descent yove done, since it reminds me of the mountains here in Canada. Most of our descents don’t require brakes at all, since the roads are built for 100+kph! Sometimes it’s nice to get into a tuck and watch those miles fly by.

It seems like their architecture does a better job of integrating into their environment. Some of those bridges were just coming straight out of the rock
Besides the usual landscape, speed, precision and awesomeness, around 6:20 I see Safa’s power meter is not showing data, I am so thankful and glad for that as I always think I have a problem with my devices , now I can relate to Safa and just keep pedaling !
Great Content Safa... The locations are beautiful.
DAMN THIS CHANNEL HAS GROWN. I remember when you used to post fixed gear descents in Mexico City!!! holy!!!
amazing run
Super tuck wobbles make me wince every time! One rogue pebble or a blow out and it might be off to the clouds for you! Awesome footage as ever though.
beautiful!!
Great cycling in very beautiful sarounding.
Wow! That was a lot different from my St. Gotthard Pass experience! I started in Airolo and climbed the cobblestones to the peak, then after eating lunch with my family, I descended on the old cobblestones to Hospental. I also wanted to do the Furka Pass after lunch, but my family had already patiently waited for me to do St. Gotthard long enough. But I really enjoyed your video. It was a lot different, but it brought back a lot of memories from my trip in 2021.

Your ride sounds pretty amazing too. Cobbles on both sides and lunch with the fam, brilliant!
Love the view
You are one brave amazing cyclist. Wow incredible skills.
Dope dope, thanks!
Bike ride at heaven of world. Thx
Excellent video. It's hard to imagine going through a dark tunnel at that speed without soiling my chamois. 😂
Nice Ride!
Bravooooooo, respect from Serbia
You went far without a drink...you definitely deserve a cherry slurpee..thanks for the ride. Wunderbar John
5 seconds in and you got me subbed. Holy sh*t

good job bro, for the algorithm
You know its fast when 120 cadence produces 3 Watts
I cried coming down this decent! Just overwhelmed by the views!
Makes me want to ride bike again vroom vroom 🚴
Nice game ❤❤❤

Great Ride!!! Now, tell me how did you two get back up???
Waw speed man
Hi, very good stuff. Is it possible to have HR data also on th screen. It would be usefull to see.
DUDE- you should have lights on in the tunnel!!!!!

@@BadWithNames123 it's mandatory in Europe to have lights on the bikes.
Need to 4K footage of this kind of stuff so that we the viewer can really put ourselves there in the action.
Niiiice, as always! 😊 this side of Gotthardpass feels like a highway so it’s almost orgasmic to ride it full gas :) Also avoided Tremola by riding on a section where bikes are forbidden, but with this speed only some purist policemen would complain 😂

At these speeds it's not clear that bikes should not take this road but the old route. I've missed this turn also. Anyway, it's no problem because there's hardly any traffic there.

Safa
Yeah.... I MISS the ALPS!!! been 4 years now!!! 1 day.....
speed 100%
I find myself trying to hit the brakes every time a hairpin comes up. 😝
What camera was used to take this and how is the data displayed in the video?
Due to your lights on the bike you are totally visible in the tunnel 😉
This makes me jealous
Will there be more commentarys?
0:45 finally we know where is the tunnel that captain Price's squad f*cked up by the Mi-24 helo in the End game Mission on CoD 4
💪💪💪💪👏👏👏 Tell me how you add values to the screen

the Biker is so Fast, but not Stabilized the bike and that's Scares me ! 😅 it's a challenge for that Speed !
Yeah, for a moment I thought you were going down the cobbled side
06:54 more lucky than mind
Finally a descent I've ridden myself (twice). I didn't remember that tunnel being so long. When I was there last time, I was so cold I could hardly brake. I almost crashed because I drifted to the outside.
How do you show the speed/power on the video?
07:22 - I hope you're aware that the green sign with a white car symbol means "motorway"? If the police had been around, you would have had to pay a pretty high fine and they might have taken you to the police station on top of that. Switzerland is pretty strict about bicycles on motorways.
are you using a gopro?

Is it allowed to go there uphill too?
Nice ride. Try the old road some time, the legendary Tremola.. cobbles, only half as fast but twice as scenic. For this kind of vid the new one is better, though..

what kind of bike that? can someone tell me?

He seems a little jittery this day. He is inspirational even through that. Any 'off' day of his is a goal that I aspire to achieve and be proud of.
But did you get the KOM????
Es mi ídolo safa
Is the cameraman/woman on a bike as well?
Which country is this ❤
Why you giving all the stats at the beginning? Best part is to watch the speed for a new high
yea man, an honnor to have you here, as ridicolous as it may sound
how deep are his rims?
is this a game ?
His bike models?
While it is considered illegal to ride bicycles on an "Autostrasse" in Switzerland (green rectangle with car symbol, 7:03), you did a great job at maintaining the mandatory minimum speed for vehicles on such highways! 😂
bike model???
Why wearing a helmet if you don't protect the rest with this speed? Nice view! Awesum
