    I have 9K rounds of 9mm, 6K rounds of 5.56, 1K rounds of .223 and 200 rounds of defensive 9mm. I've been buying rounds all year when I can. If the ATF ever raided my apartment, they'd think I was crazy. I want to learn to reload next. #FATF #FJB

    308 is slightly annoying to stock...its such a wide range of power level/ bullet type weight etc you wind up buying to test out...its kind of like you have to keep it all in its packages in ammo cans...unless you buy like mountains of m80 ball to store loose

    I’ve been buying a bunch of AAC ammo from PSA. Before that I was buying a bunch of ammo from Norma. Both companies have a variety of loadings for most common calibers. I always buy 124 grain 9mm or heavier and been buying the AAC 5.56 77 grain OTM when they’re on sale. I need to get a new scope so I can do some accuracy testing with different loads. I really need to start getting more 7.62x39 as well. I have several underwood loads as well and they make a bunch of good stuff in most calibers too. Also maybe just maybe my can will get approved in the near future 😂 Great video

    @2amichaelj

    Ай бұрын

    @@sawtoothtactical404 its no interest. The reason it's not the best price is because Palmetto State Armory doesn't have the best prices. Sezzle is just a non credit 4 payment plan for larger purchases. Other options like PayPal does not allow the purchase of ammunition. This is literally the only website I've seen that allows this. You're paying the same price as you would if you paid for it in full but you're just separating it 4 payments. You get the ammo right away though.

    Fuck PSA their prices are average at best even on sale and there’s usually, not always but usually no way of getting out of shipping with them on ammo. I signed up with targetsports for $100 and never looked back, free shipping and the 8% discount covers taxes and their prices are usually pretty good. Anyone that’s buys 10k a year should look into some form of place that offers these benefits because my $99 is paid off in a few orders.

    I generally do buy range ammo in 1k round lots, sometimes larger. Most of my stocks are FMJ, but I do have a reasonable amount of hollow points for 9mm, 10mm, and 5.56. For 308 I just get PSP & FMJ, and I just add it to another order. 1k rounds of 308 is not cheap...

  • @sawtoothtactical404

    That might be a good topic to do a video on. I think that generally soft-tip and hollow point rounds are more effective and technically safer, since they shouldn't over penetrate, but all of my practice ammo is FMJ. At the same time, the military has been using FMJ for a longtime and it's been perfectly effective in that role.

    I go to psa for ammo or velocity ammo. My rifles thankfully like aac rounds so I grab those. Honestly cheaper than the store if you order in larger quantities to offset shipping (20 boxes). Even chip a dollar or five to GOA. I keep two types per rifle. A defensive round and a longer range precision round. Then have generic 55gr for training 100 and in. Every paycheck I buy $100-$200 worth of ammo, sometimes depending on whether a type is in stock or if there's a competition i plan on doing. Other than that I dry fire as much as I can and then do drills and specific training at the range to get the most put of every round and time spent. Helped to save ammo from just shooting for the sake of it.
