sisters of mercy... sooo under rated
I was there great times 😅
This corrosion is from the album "Floodland", that would be from 1986-87!! 😎
So that’s where the chicken dance comes from.
80's goth clubs in San Francisco, very fond memories. Underground Club, Das Klub, Kit Cat, Bondage-a-Go-Go, DNA Lounge, Paradise Lounge, Death Guild. It was a good time to be a goth kid.

I loved all of those places but my favorite was House of Usher in Berkeley, such great memories there. I wish I could go back in time and dance all night at that club again.

@@celestialblue7229 I remember HOU, but only went a couple times. I liked Berkeley in the early 80's, but as years passed it wore on me. I'm sure you and I crossed paths in those clubs back then.
Those places existed
ps seen SOM alot back then

Yes they were considered to be Goth, but they would play double headers with bands such as Depeche Mode, The Ramones and at festivals with bands like Nirvana.
Me too. loved this song. Didn’t have to have a Mohawk tho. My friends did. Detoirt 80s amazing.

@@uluruh1527 I’m guessing it depends on where exactly you were in the world, and maybe what part of the 80’s judging from the comments.

@@solomonkane8136 if you look at the scene from very far away and don't take it too seriously, then you might think it's the same weird music and people. And even if goth music has punk influences, even the earliest bands you can associate with goth are definitely not punk anymore. Who would dare to call Joy Division or Bauhaus punk? The complete lack of electronic instruments in punk alone is enough to draw a clear distinction here.
