It's not unrealistic. There are men (or women - depending on your preference), who would adore you. However, you too have to take note of Morticia's characteristics. That is, be: elegant, classy, sophisticated, take care of yourself, loving and a good (albeit slightly scary) woman. Morticia is one of my major style icons. Next to Sade Adu and Josephine Baker.

Bunni: used to watch the TV series when I was little and yes it was funny and good but I think these movies are way better. Much more clever and the jokes are more adult. Angelica Huston is perfect, sultry, mysterious, witty and funny. The late great Raul Julia’s Gomez is much more charming, smooth, and handsome while being funny at the same time. Much darker adult humor than the series staying truer to the original comic strip.

The charisma of these two together! Angelica Houston was so hypnotizing as Morticia(the way every time she's on screen light only falls on her eyes is bewitching). And Raul Julia. Unforgettable as Gomez. Charming doesn't even begin to cover it. They are sensual as all hell, and when they are on screen together it's hard to tear your eyes off them. Superb actors

I love how the Addams always creeped out other people but this dance here captivated and impressed everyone.

The best, bar none, Gomez and Morticia. When I heard Raul Julia and Anjelica Huston had been cast, I could not picture them being right for the parts. Now, I cannot see anyone else.

Debbie didn't care about Fester one bit. It was all an act because she was a black widow. Though admittedly Debbie was getting a bit frustrated through the film when her numerous attempts to kill Fester failed due to Fester being essentially invulnerable. Then what was even more funny was Fester being totally oblivious to it. Not to mention Debbie's attempt to electrocute the family wouldn't have worked considering in the first film Wednesday is shown electrocuting Pugsley and he was perfectly fine in the next scene. The biggest irony? Had Debbie just openly admitted to being a black widow, the Addamses would have welcomed her with open arms.

I remember one Halloween when my mother dressed up as Morticia. She is a damn spitting image for Angelica Houston when she dyes her hair.

Good... GOD you could tell these people were having the time of their lives with this movie!

One of my favorite scenes. Simply perfect.

Gomez and Morticia (as well as their family) are so in their world, doing their own thing, that their little bubble of a relationship feels like a safe space. That must be why it's so comforting to watch

A couple that I admire performs one of the most mesmerizing dance sequences that I've seen in movies...! And they're the healthiest movie marriage (and romance) that comes to mind; mutual respect, they complement each other (Gomez is unabashedly and demonstrably romantic and emotive, Morticia is elegantly reserved and composed) they support each other, they're equally proactive and loving parents, and they're madly in love with each other and just adore each other. Raul and Anjelica *ARE* Gomez and Morticia, as far as I'm concerned! I keep hoping for a Gomez to my Morticia...! Raul Julia... rest his soul-! The perfect Morticia lost her perfect Gomez!
