my biggest help for the mindset was, "if i pass, great! if i don't, no biggie, my life carries on, we go again" it really helped calm me down lol- if you are doing your driving test it means your instructor / person you are learning with trusts you alone in their car, so drive how you would on lessons / mock tests, and you'll be fine :)

I find switching between cars difficult, I'm sticking with your advise. Thank you.

@@janejikeme6775 keep focused - you can do this! Go to that roundabout and do it with your instructor or loved one until it has no power over you and your memories anymore. Make the roundabout seem boring and standard to you and therefore easier to you by being there as much as possible so it doesn’t effect you again if it’s on your test. Students can get fearful of certain areas or places after failing and they attempt to stay away from it - I say the opposite, go there as much as possible and change your perception of the place x

My only tip would be to mske the examiner feel safe as you have to prove you are safe a ready to be on your own. Don't get hung up on perfection. Each part you do go through the steps as taught. Then focus on the next set of steps thier is nothing you can do about the previous set of steps plus what you think you did wrong might not matter in context of the situation. My test was totally different to know no iPad just pen and paper and when they marked a fault I thought it was because I had done something I had to do . Not thst u had forgotten something. Plus I just focused on the next thing I had to do . Then once I had relaxed they stopped marking I thought I had failed . So said to myself drive normally mske the examiner feel safe it's all I can do . Passed 3 minors I think . You just don't know . Emergency stop was totally different to how it is now you got told I will raise my hand sometimes during the route and say stop an all the rest was the same . I do prefer that as it's unpredictable as an emergency stop can he. But it was cruel then remember blind spots . I had just done it 1 the lesson before so it was fresh in my head

A bit of brain fog with directions. My driver instructor says 3rd right and a few times I've done 2nd. He said the examiner will be I'd off if I keep getting bthr directions wrong. Pleasedbu said it OK. But I've got memory tips to help me now. 😊

@@mummysewell yep - you can go the wrong way if you have mirrored and signalled properly and all is safely done. Getting the wrong exit at a roundabout but carried out in a correct manner is totally fine :-)

You can’t fail them for not signalling for a parking at the end that’s CRUEL 😢
