Looks delicious. Personally, I'd throw a couple of cloves of garlic in the pan as the oil heats up. I'll make this with Cantabrian anchovies this afternoon. Thanks!

I'd probably use the anchovy oil to toast the bread......it will add a depth of flavour to the bread..... & will obviously save you money....!

Beautiful Paella,that is my favourite dish, that I cook myself and my english friends love it so much, with a side Mediterranean salad and a cold San Miguel. Un abrazo 🤗
Not everyone appreciates the intensity of anchovy flavour, I learned a long time ago to melt them into the olive used to fry the bread, & to save any leftover oil to make a salad dressing with lemon, lime or orange zest & garlic.
Thanks for the recipe! There have been two anchovies cans for a loooong time in my cupboard waiting for being used! Jolly good! 💥Will them used shortly.😆

I don't eat anchovies. I am very sorry for the penguins in Patagonia not having enough anchovies to feed their babies. I think, the scientists are trying to do something about it.
