    I instantly saved this recipe! Next time my friends come over I am going to make tapas based on your tapas recipes.     Roasted bell peppers as another subscriber noted is a good idea( alternating with tomatoes , especially when tomatoes out of season)

    I'd probably use the anchovy oil to toast the bread......it will add a depth of flavour to the bread..... & will obviously save you money....!

Beautiful Paella,that is my favourite dish, that I cook myself and my english friends love it so much, with a side Mediterranean salad and a cold San Miguel. Un abrazo 🤗

    Not everyone appreciates the intensity of anchovy flavour, I learned a long time ago to melt them into the olive used to fry the bread, & to save any leftover oil to make a salad dressing with lemon, lime or orange zest & garlic.

    I don't eat anchovies. I am very sorry for the penguins in Patagonia not having enough anchovies to feed their babies. I think, the scientists are trying to do something about it.
