Long promised Arya tribute is here. I tried to show her journey, as much as possible, had to make some compromises (characters like Gendry, Hotpie etc.), but I hope this still turned out to be good. Mainly, I concentrated on father figures for Arya, her teachers.
Now the long wait begins, almost two years until the next season arrives. Don't worry, we'll get through this together.
I want to say one thing: University is on my throat, I have a lot of work to do, really a lot. So, I might not upload as fast as I used to be. I hope you'll understand. I'll have some time every now and then and create videos like these. I'll never leave you, I promise.

My favorite character. I've loved her from episode 1
This tribute is so powerful and emotional! I smile and cry. She has come a long way back home. I look forward to her reunion with Jon. You created another masterpiece, brother! Nobody can do something like this, only you. Thank you for these wonderful three and a half minutes!

Although Arya butchered House Frey, it was Jon that made sure that the Boltons got doomed. Without him, there would've been no Northern army, and the Starks would've never returned to Winterfell.

Fair, everyone their own opinion. If you ask me, I think that the Freys would've never orchestrated the red wedding without help from the Boltons and the Lannisters, so in my opinion the red wedding was avenged by both Arya, Jon and Dany.
Arya is the best stark ever she did more for house stark then Sansa and Bran. You did her justice with this amazing video!!

Arya is an epic character
Masie Williams did immortalized herself with this role..she is already a veteran actress at such a young age. I wish and I know that she will be one of the biggest names of the industry some day .God bless u massie

I love the Syrio training flashbacks from her learning the art to truly encompassing it "You must become one with the blade" her listening and practicing until she got up to that expert level of water dancing mixing it with the assassination training; everything it was just thank you!

On first viewing I did not enjoy season 7 of game of thrones. I felt that many of the characters became rather bland and one sided and the overall quality of the writing had dipped. However your tribute videos to these characters have made me rethink my prior remarks and I'm starting to see the beauty in the show once again! Thank you GaroStudios, keep up the incredible work!

well, a great editor can make even garbage films/scenes/shows look great. that doesn't change anything from the fact that these last 3 seasons' writing is nothing in comparison to the bookmaterial-seasons. Even though writing is the most important thing, many other aspects like music, special effects, battle choreography (in FoF2.0) and some acting (although most of the best actors characters are already dead) is still top class. So clearly a good editor has material to make the show look as if it is still as great as ever

MizzReyRey why would I want to make people dislike the season? He said his opinionon how the season was, I said mine. If its something positive its alright to say that else not or what? Many people loved this season. Its just depends on why you‘re watching the show. If you are here for good story, no „plotarmor“ stuff that surprises you (hello red wedding), great dialogue and characterbuilding and things that make in-world sense then you probably loved S1-4 and thought this one sucked/was worse. If you are here for great battles (FoF was shot amazing), dragons (lots of budget and the CGI artists are some of the best) and „badass“ one-liners, this season was surely for you. And to those people that say „its fantasy man, it has dragons, it doesn‘t have to make sense“, did you ever wonder why GoT dragons have 2feet+wings instead of the classical 4feet+wings? Because our author made biological research and there saw that there are no real animals on earth that have 4 feet + wings.

MizzReyRey telling people to get a life for expressing an opinion, nice one. Any fan of the books or just good television and writing in general knows that season 7 was a massive disappointment, even though it was still more entertaining than almost anything else on TV.

MrColler123 Well can you blame the writing for going down hill? There is no more material from the books for them to use. And that is mainly Martin's fault. He was greedy enough to approve the creation of the TV series even though he knew he still had at least three books to write. And he knew that would put a strict time line on him to get the books out. And now he is still dragging his feet. I am seriously concerned about whether or not we will get the last two books.

0816 M3RC it has little to do with greed considering he would have got the money anyway. The fans are already pissed enough at him for delaying the books, if he delayed the show as well he'd be getting death threats. Don't pretend like it's not possible to find good TV writers. It's the show who got lazy.

Another tremendous effort from you TGS. Missing GoT a lot this last while but your videos fill a much needed gap in my life! This particular video was great in the light it shone on the relationship between Arya and The Hound. I always though they were a great duo in those early seasons just because of their back and forth but you really did a great job in showing that Arya did eventually grow to value their partnership. You really have a great feel for this show and it's characters. HBO needs to get in touch with you to start making trailers for them professionally (if they have not already!). Thanks again for sharing your gift for video editing with us all!

My list of top Arya Life Story video's has just grow to a select group of five rather than four. Truly a wonderful piece. I especially loved the use of the cup bearing down on the table as a crescendo to those powerful moments. Great job.
I like Arya’s journey from 1-8. I loved the Maisie started at age 10? A young age and now a woman. I can’t say it enough, her story was so moving. This is a lovely tribute. Love the show overall too. This show will always stay in my heart now and always!

Good catch! She was doing MUCH more. Once she gave Littlefinger that defiant stare to declare war with him, she started using several Faceless Man techniques to out-duel him so that he'd TRY to kill her and thus condemn himself. Re-watch the Ep. 4 sparring scene and all her subsequent ones; even pay attention to music and how Arya controls which quarrels with Sansa can and can't be overheard. Arya did surveillance on LF as she carefully escalated her quarrels with Sansa. After arguing over the letter, she was prepared for Sansa to search her room so Sansa could find the Faces and Arya could explain their power and then SILENTLY hand Sansa the dagger as a signal. So when she ran to LF for advice, he'd realize that with a Face Arya could easily kill him as anyone, anywhere! So this time, he urgently tried to induce Sansa to kill Arya, but could only offer false reasons. Sansa, alerted by the dagger exchange, saw through him.
