so you think Prince that was Promised means what? Jon will rule? He saved the world from the Others (ice) and Dany (fire). how is the prophecy not fulfilled? if it even matters. Martin says himself, prophecy is not necessarily real or interpreted correctly. the story is just how flawed humans act, or not, with the information they have.

I was watching a video the other day saying how stupid Jon was to tell cersi that he sided with Dani. To me that was a amazing scene. Yes he could've lied and decided to play the game like all the other rats of kingslanding. But he didn't he stayed loyal and told the truth when a lie was best. In our own world we are so use to politicians and world leaders lieing that we don't trust nothing they say. Imagine how amazing it would be to have politicians and leaders that told the truth no matter what.

That foreshadowing! everyone blowing it off as "Not having his name because he is a Bastard", when in fact he didn't have his name cause he is from a different House and having Ned's blood via his sister.... If you watch that scene again after knowing Jon's history, it is obvious keeping the secret of Jon's heritage, is eating Ned alive from the inside. Lies are the Bane of Honorable Men. Really makes my head hurt writers with level of skill ruining the 8th season. You would think even following the book for 5 seasons, some of Georges talent would rub off on the show writers.

A month after season 8 and I still can't believe how hard they dropped the ball.

Season 7 and 8 happened

To have seen everything Jon has been through time and time again then hearing "his name is Aegon Targaryen" and "he's the heir to the Iron Throne" gives me goosebumps everytime.

This hits you right in the chest. What George R.R. Martin and HBO have done with this series, and this character is nothing short of monumental. I've never feared for any character in any creative medium like I have with Jon Snow. The ultimate story of a bastard spit upon his entire life, to be destined for greatness. It is the story we all want for ourselves. Kit Harrington deserves to be remembered for this role. Thank you for this labor of love!

Never thought about Ned being an Arryn but I disagree, Ned was always more quiet and reserved, and his brothers, who never stayed with Jon Arryn turned out to be great people... well Ned's older brother, Brandon was a little wild and so was Lyanna but Benjen? The young wolf was always well behaved and honourable without Arryns

Jon should've killed the NK. He and Arya could've fought the White Walkers together, but after all of the build up we deserved to see he and Jon fight. Cersaei should've been dealt with at the end of Season 7. Season 8 should've been devoted to the long night and its conclusion.

I wish and pray they would make him King of the Seven Kingdoms but I’m not convinced it’s going to end like that. He’ll always be the true King to me! 🖤

love Jon... he may be the prince that was promised, but Jamie is Azohr Ahai... he fulfills the prophecy better than anyone. If he does what he should in the books and maybe the show now..(kill cersei, the love of his life, even though he hates her now) his damn hand will set fire lol as well as his blade and HE will lay down the NK's army... Plus he fufills the valonqar prophecy when he kills cersei as he is her younger brother by seconds...

When Jon got murdered (back in Season 5 i think) i couldn't believe it, when he came back i realized that all of Game of Thrones is his Story and none others. I wish i could undo all what the writers have done with season 8.

It is called A Song Of Ice And Fire for a reason

This show had so much potential, so many amazing arcs. Sad to see it end the way it did.

I think the fact Ned could sense Bran at the Tower of Joy could play into the story next season. I think Bran will show Jon and Ned will tell him in some way. Whether that's Ned telling Jon face to face, Ned telling someone else or Ned talking to baby Jon. I think it's only right Jon hears it from the man he called father and the man who said next time they see each other he'd tell him who his mother was.

While yes he did have a brother that also had the same name, that brother was never king. And like real life royalty the line of title follows those who were monarchs before. So there were five targaryen kings called aegon before jon not six.

The greatest Jon Snow (Aegon Targaryen) tribute Ive ever seen to date. A character who deserves the highest of honors. I've never seen a character development so amazing in any show or movie. I've never been so emotionally invested in a character. Been rooting for Jon since day one. Never expected he would become what he is now. Job well done with the video

It is so depressing to watch this after seeing how the show ended, and how Jon being a Targaryen meant nothing at all.

The inclusion of Daenerys in Jon's arc makes my heart so happy. I get goosebumps every time they're in a scene together.

I don't care how much they did him wrong in the season 8, he's a hero and he'll always be.

You know if he dies or becomes king in season 8, you can really give him justice with this video ending with his death/coronation. It would be a great way to show his legacy.

Considering that leaked script has very little evidence to being true, also not fitting the poetic style George RR loves to follow, I find it hard to believe that Jon would get finished by wildfire. In all honesty, I would rather think that he will die protecting his unborn child and wife. I will not mention who that is for those who have not seen S7E7.

@@autisticrickastley804 technically, lyannas blood runs through his veins, which is the same as ned’s. So yes, Ned Stark’s blood does run through his veins. He’s as much a stark as the rest

@@autisticrickastley804 Well not exactly, he is actually half Stark, specifically Lyana Stark's blood, which is the same as Ned's since they were brother and sister So yes, Jon Snow may not have Ned's name, but he certainly does have his blood

I will not lie. Many tears were shed while watching this. What a tribute to the King of the North.

This is quite honestly my favorite video. The editing is amazing and the evolution of Jon’s character that’s displayed is so emotionally compelling. Thanks for bringing this gift to us GOT fans.
