@GorillaMind I really hope this is you, Derek, and you can address an account issue. I was banned from buying your products due to "customer service" stating that I committed "returns abuse". I was shipped two orders, six months apart, where nearly half the products sent gave me food-poisoning-like effects with spasms, diarrhea, and body pains. When presented this information both times, they allowed to return the first order, but denied a return of the second order, full refunded, but banned me from ordering ever again. Now I'm kind of a big fan, and if you check my emails and contacts via the website, you'll see I just about did your job reformulating MODE among being months in advance of other products you put out, even hitting Pumpkin Spice protein (but no Rootbeer Float!). I'm just kidding about all that, although the similarities are spooky (just proves I'm paying attention to the same trends you are haha, feeslgoodman, seeing the meter tick on all the recommendations, even the flavors, colors, the energy drink, protein bars, the herbs, the electrolyte product, the AlphaGPC in MODE (not quite the 1200mg you'v always referenced, and no ALCAR!) and half a dozen other things, in a sea of underdosing conartists, it's a cool thing to see "feedback response" in whatever amount I really had, just seeing an awake and aware formulator show up on the scene is rare, although you have to watch out for the those boys over at Underground Bio Labs, lookin' perty good, too.) My point is, I have a great deal of respect for your ethos and the quality of formulations and just want to be able to buy Gorilla Mind (while also being ensured of safe quality). And I shouldn't be punished for wanting to return 100% of everything for you to do safety tests on to keep your customer base safe by helping to root out any quality control issues in the pipeline. So please, please, please, look over my emails, I'm your boy, I'm on your side, GM is my brand! Just let me buy Gorilla Mind at the prices you offer on your website because I can't buy half the stuff I want at Vitamin Shoppe! And here's the biggest telling thing about my case: I've purchased at least 4 containers of MODE so far from Vitamin Shoppe and has ZERO adverse effects like the ones from those two 2023 orders. Funny, innit? I just want good stuff without being abused and cut off. Help me out, man. Please. Please!

Personally I like to use a scoop of your collagen protein along with your pre workout 30-40 min along with your hydroprime and a carb source. CRAZY pump. It only bothers me when I see a woman with a big booty walk by... lol... Great job Derek!

@@filabilathis me formula is pretty trash, Two scoops dont do much, not noticing anything better and been using it for like 3 weeks…still taste bad, fruit punch taste like chalky cough syrup…dont care but since hes saying it taste better now it just taste like pre….old formula had more jumpstart, this new one I can have the same effects from any other pre…it has lead and mercury warning labels on it….waste of 60 bucks for sure. Love Dereks input into the game all these years but this new formula is a cheap cash grab honestly but hey gotta make a living

​@@Supersaiyinican I'm pretty sure they emphasised that multi vits are a waste of money because most companies use really poor forms of X vitamin/ mineral at arbitrary dosages. Derecks had a multi vit in his personal stack for years he made a couple videos on his supplement stack.

Fr. Only thing keeping me from buying Gorilla Mode is resellers here mark it up 3x the original price.

I like the increase in L Tyrosine, L Citruline and Betaine but i cant really call it an upgrade when it takes out the Eria and the Agmatine Sulfate, and also the increase in price doesnt seem to be justified while taking out what might be the most expensive ingredient in the formula while not adding anything that matches its effect(talking aboug Eria jarenesis), and 1g of salt really doesnt do anything that i cant do by myself by grabbing a spoon and pickling my tongue like Derek himself has suggested. I might give it a try but my expectations are low. I like a lot of gorilla mind products but im concerned when i see these kind of changes.

There are more changes than outlined in this comment, but I feel as though I summarized them, and adequately addressed what would be common questions about ingredient selection in the video. The formula is more expensive to make now, the max dose went from 30 > 40 g of ingredients. Also something to keep in mind, the actual space efficiency of ingredients differs dramatically, so even if you feel like one ingredient was more justifiable to keep than another, it doesn't mean that if you removed a gram of 1 thing, you then gain the exact space you need to fit 1 gram of any other ingredient. Some of the ingredients vary proportionally in how space efficient they are. Agmatine is still in Nitric, and the removal was a carefully considered and thoughtful process considerate of years of feedback, goals of the formula, literature, etc. It literally couldn't fit, and for what is supposed to be a stacked swiss-army knife pre-workout hitting all vectors (including energy and focus), leaning on Agmatine when we could push other areas harder, it just didn't make the cut. Also, N-Phenethyl, have you tried it solo? I believe it looks more exotic than it actually behaves in practical application, and truly feel our Nootropic blend hits harder in this formula, but I understand why that would be of concern. I'll have a more detailed video out that gets way more granular on this stuff to explain how I justified the additions and swaps made. If you try it and genuinely don't think it's good, show customer service this comment, and we'll refund you.

Now the pre workout is $60 too… I’m not exactly an expert but I’m curious if this might potentially even be a downgrade

​@@LordHeroMc there is 100 grams of Tyrosine in a tub of Mode vs. 45 grams in a tub of Base. There is 80 grams of Betaine Anhydrous in Mode vs. 37.5 grams in Base. 16 grams Alpha-GPC vs. 9 grams. I could go on, (and will in my longer video).

I bought the very first drop of Gorilla mode, and I've bought absolutely no other preworkouts since, but the removal of N,N-Dimethylphenethylamine Citrate is a crushing blow. I would say at this point, I'm completely dependent on it. I've even switched my AM coffee to one scoop of Gorilla Mode Energy, and the difference I notice with and without this ingredient is HUGE. If I have a plain energy drink, I completely lose the mood elevation and motivation increase. Yes, it is absolutely not advisable to become reliant on a stim as I have, but the removal of this from the blend (and according to GM customer service, its likely removal from the upcoming new GME formula) means I'll either have to buy the compound separately, or stop using Gorilla Mind's products. Tragic to do this in the name of global compliance for a GRAS stimulant that I believe heavily contributes to the "OH WOW" effect that new users get from gorilla mode. RIP to the OG formula.

I literally just got a new can in and saw the scoop was bigger but the servings are the same and hoped to see if you had a video out. And you do! MPMD never disappoints

Been using GM 1.0 since fall of '20, so I'll be keeping an empty tub for nostalgia's sake. On another note, I bought 2.0 day one and have had maybe a week of experience with it. Fruit punch is absolutely delicious and I absolutely feel the cognitive benefits/energy profile much more - and this is coming from someone that stacks 1-1.5 scoops with 10mgs of adderall. I also have tried a few lifts stacking it with the new intra formula and it is really a killer combo. Thanks for all you do Derek!

Bought a container yesterday and I've got a bit left of the old formula. Once it comes in I'm going to alternate them for the week. I hope I don't die from the awesome.

Dialed up and dialed in ! Full of blood, focus and hydration components to prolong stamina.

I agree with the overuse of bioperene and find that it may be a bit of an issue with stomach distress occasionally.

Nitric 4 times a week for my evening workouts and Mode for my Saturday AM workout. I do not care what the general consensus is that pre workouts don't have scientifically backed effectiveness I definitely feel a difference from when I was using other pre's like bang, Legion, and a few others. My muscle soreness recovers significantly quicker, I used to be a 2nd day DOMS sufferer now im typically 100% 48 hours later etc. I get a great burst of energy once the mode or nitric kicks in. Very happy with this product and cannot see myself ever switching.

We'd highly recommend something like a half serving of Respawn for you, which would contain a heavy dose of nootropics and a moderate amount of caffeine that is likely to enhance your study sessions.

Just got my new formula today, and I definitely feel at the VERY least that the pump is MUCH stronger, which I honestly did not think was possible. In addition to that, I feel like I was way more focused in the gym, to the point that I was able to drown out the screams of the high school kids in there. Also feeling a sense of general happiness, which may just be because I was excited to receive my Grape Cotton Candy all day today. Great product, I have no complaints thus far.

This stuff is no joke. With the new formula i still feel crazy energized and focused eve after a 2 hour workout.

Its more this is the limit of it still being a "pre-workout". The previous one already had issues mixing in any reasonable amount of water to be a "quick preworkout". It still needs to be something you can suck down in a minute before a workout.

A few questions how does this compare to gorilla hi stim? Also when you take this will you still be able to take gorilla mind nootropics non stim and how would this compare to gorilla mode respawn as that is my favorite formula? @@MorePlatesMoreDates i take it frequently solo. i buy powder serperatly and love the effects of it. The only real issue I find with it is taste (tastes like ass on its own). The reason I like it so much, aside from the affects it gives, is that its another option aside from caffeine I can leverage to get in the zone. best way I can describe it is that caffeine is is everything, I know what to expect from it and I like it. but I don't always want to rely on caffeine. that's where eria comes into play for me. i can feel it without caffeine, and has more of a feel good mental clarity than caffeine (at least that's what I notice).

I know you said you’re bringing mode up to Nitric’s level. Are you going to readdress Nitric as well? Or is that pretty much where you want it? I prefer Nitric o er Mode because I usually work out in the afternoon and Nitric doesn’t keep me up all night. Love your products and how open and clear you are with the recipes and why you put in what you do.

Thoughts on TMAO increase with high dose alpha GPC?

Any drawbacks to taking Gorilla Mode Nitric before endurance events such as long runs? Seems the muscle endurance benefit for weight lifting could translate to longer endurance efforts.

I have chronic pain and never noticed improvement with agmatine. What does work really well is high dose fish oil (6 grams actual omega 3) and high dose coq10 (400 mg)…. Ie, things you wouldn’t add to a pre workout. Those work not only for inflammation but also neurological stress (I have neurological pain).

I literally just ordered every single ingeredient on its own that must be coincidence. Will also try the N Phenetyl on its own to see if its rly not that big of a deal.

I love the OG gorilla mode when I'm lifting. But it makes me crash hard after the gym.

I actually liked the bitter after taste. Im not looking for something that tastes good; i want to chug an affective suppliment. I hope the new formula is what you say it is, because i already got every thing i could ask for out of the original. Change makes me nervous because i dont believe the old formula was broken. In the past all the suppliments i loved always got more expensive and less affective
