This video was shot on October 5th and 6th, 2019.
Kintaro finds a sleeping Momotaro and goes out to play.
It seemed that Kintaro kissed Momotaro, and then Momotaro kissed Kintaro.
This is my favorite video of Momotaro and Kintaro, and I watch it over and over again.
⚠️ ⭐️ Due to the spread of coronavirus(COVID-19) infection, Kyoto City Zoo will be closed again from August 23rd to September 30th .
The closed period may be extended depending on the situation.
Therefore, I will post old videos until the zoo reopens.

⭐️モモタロウ Momotaro ♂(2000/7/3)
momotaro was born at Ueno zoo in Tokyo on jul.3,2000 and came to our zoo on Oct.18,2010.
He is beautiful and handsome ,the silverback of our troop.
He is a little timid,and scared of new things.
He sometimes shows lovely behaviors that melt our hearts.
He is making efforts to be a good dad for his two sons.
⭐️ゲンキ Genki ♀(1986/6/24)
Genki was born at our zoo on Jun,24,1986.
After mating with several males without a pregnancy she found her perfect partner Momotaro.
Now she is a loving and caring mom for her two sons.
She sometimes behaves boldly,yet she can also be sensitive.
Genki has a cute face with shining eyes.
⭐️ゲンタロウ Gentaro ♂(2011/12/21))
Gentaro was born at our zoo on Dec.21,2011,as Momotaro and Genki's first son.
Unfortunately Genki didn't have enough milk,so he was nursed by keepers for his first 10.5 months.
Now he loves his mom,and his face really looks like her.
He also loves people .
Everyone immediately agrees that he is a very adorable boy.
⭐️キンタロウ Kintaro ♂(2018/12/19)
Kintaro was born at our zoo on Dec.19,2018.
He has big bright eyes and long eyebrows.
He is growing fine ,being loved by his parents and brother.
He love to play by himself,with his father.
He is still small, but smart and strong-willed.
His cute appearance and behavior attract everyone's interest.

Humans behave like all great apes. Noble family values like gorillas, sadistic organised warfare like chimps, excessive horniness like bonobos, being fat like orangutans
There is nothing so strong as gentleness, nothing so gentle as real strength. This is cuteness overload.
Dad is so huge yet gentle... I love watching him move around
Some times animals makes better parents than humans!!!!!

This is such a wonderful video, very calming & beautiful. All the kissing between baby & dad was just the sweetest thing ever! I truly enjoyed watching this & smiled from beginning to the end.
I loved how dad lay down quietly to make himself less intimidating and encourage his son to approach. 💖

When I think of what Mom went through before she came to this wonderful zoo it breaks my heart every time I see the hand that she chewed her finger off of from the stress she underwent before!! I'm so very happy to see her happy and fulfilled here.

It's cute how mom held big brother down to keep him from rolling over on the baby when baby was playing behind big brother. She always keeps an eye out on baby.
I had a rough day and this is just what I needed so I can go to bed happy. When Kintaro kissed his dad... omg! was that the sweetest thing I've ever seen. I'm so happy Genki was letting him have some freedom at last so he could have such great moments with his dad. Love this video so much.💕🦍

Momotaro might be ginormous but, he quickly moved away so that Genki had room to moved. Wow, that’s just simply amazing. Momotaro is highly intelligent silverback back he knows exactly how to look after his family. He looks majestic but he scared of his wife.
What a great video! The little "snuggle" w/ the dad was very sweet. This shows the "true nature" of Gorrilas. It 's amazing, to me, how gentle they are. They are so big, & yet, picking up the baby they're so very careful,& gentle. We can all learn a thing or two, from them. A bit of tenderness, can go a long way.

I love how he was laughing when bein tickled under his arms, just like a human.
What a patient good dad. This reminds me of when you take your kid to the playground and wait while they play and amuse themselves. We could learn alot from him. He isn't staring at his phone or texting someone, he is watching his son and valuing the present moment as all people should.

It’s rare in their society for the father to hang around.
This family is so much fun to watch. I love the scenes of Kintaro kissing his dad and Mama Genki giving Gentaro a warning not to roll over his little brother. They all seem to love their zookeeper. The two brother love her to tickle them. Kintaro, especially, seems to be ticklish under his arm. Watch a riot he is.
It makes me laugh every time mom’s hand comes in (mom’s mostly out of frame at these times 😉) and grabs whatever limb she can reach to drag baby away! 😛

There is no amount of cutesy music that would ever make keeping animals in captivity for people to gawk at ok. These majestic beings that look and behave so much like us deserve to be free in protected natural spaces.
Oahh...SOOO adorable!! A few 'human' fathers I know could take a lesson from this gorgeous male and his cutest little toddler. How could anyone be soulless enough to harm these most special of all God's creatures?? They're so remarkable.
Momotaro is such an angel 😇. His father died before he was born 😢. He makes sure kintaro and gentaro get enough of father's love which he never received

........why does Gentaro act afraid of him? When Momotaro got up to leave Gentaro moved away scared from him.

So sad. He's such a good father, especially considering he had no example to follow. I read that the cause of death was asphyxiation. Do you know how that happened? I can't find anything else on him. I just love this little family and I would really appreciate any info if you have it. Thanks.❤️❤️❤️❤️🦍🦍🦍🦍
