@@stephanieellis7358 I think he came from a zoo in Europe, not sure which one though. The two female sisters I think came from a zoo in the Netherlands. He is a pretty awesome dad; silverbacks are usually protective and tolerant of their young but he plays with them and lets them climb all over him a lot more than most. It’s hilarious seeing them climb up that huge head of his like it’s a mountain. Both those little guys will look like him someday; hard to believe.

D’Jeeco is like “Not the hair, kids, not the hair!” when they grab his crest…

Silverbacks are like this in the wild as well. It’s a turn in for the females therefore they’ll want to mate. It’s been studied.
