Love seeing your content and hearing your take on things- keep up the excellent work Mike!
Badass truck Mike. Well thought out and purposely built. Keep those videos coming
In the process of building out my truck! Love these videos! Can't wait to see the next one! Thank you for making them 🙏
Survived everything you survived only to get taken out by the truck rear gate...lol...really enjoy your vids!
Awesome truck!! The tent on top is like a cherry on a icecream sunday!! I'm jealous!!🤜🤛🇺🇸🇺🇸
That ram is a beast Mike. Well done. You're basically ready for anything. Thank you for explaining the logic of each upgrade to justify the expense. I know the guy who runs our local diesel performance shop and he said the best rig to build would be a Ford chassis with a Cummins diesel and an Allison transmission. I like these Dodges myself.
I did overlanding in Africa for 20 years, get ssteel rims they dont crumble when you hit a rock at speed.
Mike great setup, thanks for the direct & not flashy explanation 👍👍
All the bells and whistles plus a few other impressive details left out and for good reasons. Nice!
extending the life of your transmission will require additional cooling. Don't be afraid of adding a larger than stock, high-density stacked fin external oil cooler AND an increased capacity finned aluminum oil pan. It will be worth every penny.
Hey Mike nice rig. I have 98.5 Ram 2500, I love my 5.9. I agree what you said about the trans. I had mine built. I wanted my trans built before I did any upgrade to the motor. I’m building mine to do overland/bug out setup. Great video as always sir. And thank you for your service and great content.
Love that rig man! Very awesome setup! You really covered everything you might possibly need to have. 👍🏻👍🏻
Purpose driven and executed fantastically great job brother!
That topper is dope , didn’t know they had those . That’s the best bedding option for a pick up I’ve seen .thanx mike
Mike, I just started watching your channel within the last couple months and I swear it’s easily becoming one of my most favorites! Thanks man!
Hell yeah Mike! glad to see you are still building this and see it continuously evolve. one thing to consider is have spare tires and wheels. We do desert racing all through NV, AZ eastern CA and mexico, all our chase trucks carry 1 to 2 spare tires with wheels for the race car and two spares for the chase rig. In our world if the truck is down do to a flat its a quick change and we are moving again......two flats? most people are screwed. and yes some flats can be plugged but some cant.... keep up the momentum and hope to see you on the other side!
Everyone I know that has amp auto steps had problems with them not working after while, rock sliders never fail and add protection to the side of your vehicle. Let's say someone hits you from the side, you most likely will be able to still open your door. Might want to reconsider. All in all great truck choice.👍
I'm digging it! can't wait to see the go bag!
Mike, you're the reason im saving for a truck! Your tips from experience on all subjects is invaluable.. thanks for sharing

Given what I've seen here .. the Porsche build is going to be interesting. Love it.
Good job super attention to detail, clean, great working truck.
Man thats pretty kickass to know you're a fan of Cummins. I've only been the Diesel field for a little less than a decade but so far they've proven themselves for the most part
Solid setup right there, and being cold sucks especially when you're sleeping.
Great video , very jelly of your rig. Adjusting the plans for mine based on yours. Thanks for sharing!
20mpg is a lot better than I would have thought, thanks for the video!

I had a tuned 2012 Ram 3500 crew cab long bed and it was a lariat with a manual. Got 20 mpg on the highway. It had a second gen swap with s465 and some other goodies. Pulled so hard. I could accelerate up a steep grade pulling a 6x12 dump trailer packed with dirt and stayed in 6th gear. Couldn't stop that thing. Had to upgrade the clutch to a south bend right away, but it was bulletproof. Seriously. Not a single issue and 140k on the ticker.

turbo diesel trucks are very efficient.
Dang dude. I’ve been wondering how you were set up after listening to your podcast with AT. That is really sweet. Simple yet very usable. I like it. Can’t wait to see more.
Super slick rig Mike! Really like that Rihno liner coating. Stay safe and God bless 🇺🇸☠️🇺🇸
Love the rhino lining paint 🎨 job man. I’m definitely doing that to my truck when it’s time. Also, the falken tires are an awesome choice. They’re the best bang for the money out there in my opinion
Badassery at the next level. Driving my Ford Escape with my head hung low…. Rock on 🤘🏽
Great truck and review. Love the paint job. Thought about doing to mine before. I have done some interior stuff. Like under hood instead of liner. And interior places. Good topic. I have been planning a forerunner bug out suv for awhile. Probably without the penthouse. And just Gatorade bottles and plastic bags and baby wipes. For the latrine. Probably just go two drive though with some mud tires on the rear. Trying for distance and reliability in my build. Great stuff. Thanks.
Sweet truck mann I love seeing rig walk arounds. Nice to see an overland bound badge too.
We have the same tuner, DPF delete, 5" exhaust with a turbo muffler. Other than that the 08 is stock. Been the wife's daily driver for 6 years now. Shop that installed the mods recommended we set the tuner on 3 for daily use and 2 for towing heavy loads. I'd try it, we get around 25 highway mpg at 60 mph, a little less at interstate speeds. Sweet setup!
I love your narrative on your rig
Practical and efficient. Well built 👍🏼
Badass rig. I really enjoy your videos. Thank you!
We miss you here in Prescott Mike. Nicely done, enjoyed your humor as well👍. Look forward to seeing you in Phoenix April 1st👍🇺🇸
Mike move to Montana!! Love the videos, and both pod casts. Always ready for more. God bless you fella!! Mi casa tu casa when in Montucky.
looks like a keeper. thanks for the video and all the information packed in
This is such a well thought out rig. I appreciate the humor throughout the video too, " Level 5 means grossly negligent." LOL

Thank you for the vid, I also run a Redarc dual battery management system. What an awesome truck you have!
Hey nice truck! Noticed you’re also an overland bound member! I’m the Southeast Director, OB# 1358. Nice to see other members here providing good content!
Damn Mike, that's a sweet rig, your improvements over your stock truck look great! I hope than when my Ram 1500 grows up, it looks like yours!!! ;-)
I'm not even an overlander/ truck guy and I appreciate the setup
Awesome build. Well thought out.
That's a cool rig Mike thanks for sharing👍🇺🇸
A work of art!! Great job
Such a great and thorough video.
Awesome, rig. Love the rhino lining.
Nice A/T Habitat man! You made me feel better about mine w a similar goal on my 18 6.7 Ram 2500. Edit- A/T Summit what I would have gone w. Habitat I have found a bit slow. Nice build👍👍
Love mike thanks can't wait for part 2😮😮😮😎🍺
Awesome truck bro.
Epic rig very cool video
Nice set up👍
Killer rig! My brother has the same truck minus all the mods, now I want to trick him into building his out like yours.
Excellent wilderness vehicle. You'll have great range with the secondary fuel tank, and you could go anywhere with that suspension upgrade. Sweet vehicle.
cant wait for the next vid !!
Appreciate the share, and education. Awesome channel
I love this rig; I'm going with the 50 gal - Dodge Ram LRAM tank, this tank replaces the OEM 26 gal tank.
Earl Sheib: "I'll paint any car for $99.95!!" Going way back dude.
Nice rig mike. I’m still rocking the 5.9 6 speed. Wouldn’t trade it for anything.
My 2019 North Edition Ram 1500 came stock with the Falken Wildpeeks. They're good tires.
Can’t wait to see the comms setup.
Hey Mike, nice setup. I have a 2012 RAM 6.7 deleted, with 34” tires. I’m getting 19-23 miles, just depends on the day. My next mod is a 56 gal. fuel tank. Waiting for the interior. Thanks
I like the factory sipeing on the tires.
Legit build. Minimal/DURABLE augmented by individual's must-haves is the best plan. Still like my FJC for nimble overland.
Thats a legit badazz setup. My ‘92 Dodge 5.9 cummins will adopt that setup
I have a very similar setup...2014 dodge 2500 with air lockers front and rear. 17k winch under back bumper, air compressor, 42" tires that i cut out the fenders to fit, and re-geared axles. 5" lift, decked system, softtopper, ARB air vents for both axles, transfer case and differential all into a vent inside upper cabin.
THis video is hilarious and awesome!
Nice truck!
That is one hell of a beast.
Suprised I'm not seeing more of these bug out trucks, definitely getting mine ready
This beast is awesome 😎 super jealous
I used Line X On my Taco. One of the best mods on the truck. Nice rig.
Great toy Mike. Love it! Unfortunately the taxes for this type of vehicles around here are absolutely crazy!!! Maybe one day when I change my location...who knows.
Nice rig!
thanks love your vids
Sweet build. I notice the OB badge.
I run a 2000 Dodge Ram 5.9 cummins 2500 with air bags ....and have a couple camping options for the bed . I have a full size truck bed and use a camper shell with 2 - 8 ft. drawers under a carpet kit . and throw a twin size mattress up in there , racks up top for the canoe and thule cargo carrier ..... Or I go long term adventure mode with my Northland Camper . it has every thing and its very comfortable ..... shower , kit. toilet etc. spend a lot of time in it off road camping , working , fly fishing , skiing etc. I like your Rhino coat thats a good idea ! i have scratched up my truck sides a bit off roading thru the bush . So this would be great protection ! Ok thanks of the vid and look forward to more .....
killer rig!!!
I also went with a 2016 AEV power wagon. Air compressor, generator, 12k winch… all the things.
Nice rig 👍
Damn that thing is fire!!!!!!
Really excited to see how your porsche turns out.

His Instagram story today showed him about to work on it again for the summer👍
Hey, wanted to let you know that its ok to just do something because its cool and you like the aesthetics. Not everything has to be ‘advantageous’, and ‘efficient’. If you want to lift your truck 12 inches, Rhino-line it, and throw some 37’s with fancy gold aluminum rims on there - with that uber necessary utilitarian bead lock bezel - then you go ahead and do that. Oh, and I’m glad you got rid of that soft topper and upgraded to the AT Summit. Nothing says uncool like a soft topper. Great vid. Thanks mate.
Light panels on top of the sleeper may be a good idea. You can remove them easily if they are clipped on. I haven't done it to my truck yet, but I have been considering it.
Great setup Mike.....very cool! Something that really stood out to me are the pullout drawers. I’ve seen a lot of rigs, even TRD’s, that don’t have that feature when they should have. As a Land Surveyor, we’ve used that setup almost exclusively so we could get to our gear. It’s easy and practical. Thanks man.
Looks like you got everything even the kitchen sink! Maybe a tail gate ladder or moveable one
Great job!
Truck goals
Hell yeah brother, roll coal Mike!!! 🇺🇲🇺🇲
This is what I am talking about, the good stuff.
If it's steel, you could just bang it out. That's what he said. 😂😂😂 We love you Mike. (No homo) Thanks for the great content, we appreciate it. Bless you.
Awesome set up Mike. Been cool to watch the progression from you other vehicles and earlier versions of this truck. Since you have the Titan tank now, where is your spare?
Sweet truck Mike! My bugout truck is a 2002 F350 crew cab 8’ bed with cap. 7.3L diesel with 6 inch 10 stack BDS lift with 35 inch tires. Dana 60 front axle. Fox 2.0 shocks 108,000 miles on her. 4 inch straight pipe Turbo back. AFE intake. Edge tuner. New trans with billet torque converter and shafts. Can’t beat this truck I get 23 mpg On 100 horse June. If I can keep my foot out of her and keep her under 2000 RPM. At 2000 RPM I am cruising at about 75
Badass rig!!!
damn nice rig! Very durable.
Hi Mike! Have you done the interior video? I’m just getting started on my 2000 F350 7.3. Your build is precisely what I plan to emulate.
That's one mean buggy you've got there matey. Very well rigged for any occassion.
