Gaal came out of the closet and on a Norwegian broadcast tv, he admitted that why he was so into the satan- idea and darkness and stuff, where mainly cuz he was afraid to bear hes own heart. I call it growth. You experiment, play with different expressions and then you discover things. Black Metal is a style who used to be a tendency in certain local invirons. Now we are so focused on adapting to styles that we forget where the tendency came from. It came from fantasy, creativity.

It's not noise, but sounds well-organized in a sequence. For casual listeners, this could sound like harsh and icky noise, but I understand it takes lots of hours to get to understand it -if ever. It's the same with many musical genres -namely, impresionism or bebop jazz-, you need to listen carefully and have some patience. It's good to see that after all these years, metal bands have improved their mise en scène. I can still feel the headphones a-heating up! Actually!

Isn't that good? Since "Holy Bible" doesn't allow homosexuals. I was, and I still am a very hardcore fan of the Norvegian black metal bands (well - I listen almost everything now, but when I was a teenager I listened only BM). Only difference is that I'm bisexual and transgender nowadays. That makes me feel even more true kvlt. I'm way too ANTI-everything. Gaahl is great person. Appreciate.

i think the text transported a message ... but throug the message the text became a specific sound and a second message which is transported througu the audio sound and blck metal is a messag to the lisseners there are many mesages first the text than the sound and together it is a pictur it is a art which can understand only a few people

By the way I also like the sound. It fits the brutality perfect. I don´t understand why so much people say this is noise. I hear everything clearly... bass, guitar, drums vocals. Even every single note... whatever seems like this is to hardcore for some folks
