Welcome to my take @ The Lake 🦀-so glad you found us! This channel is dedicated to sharing boatloads of information, new ideas and maybe some different twists on old ones about junk journaling, altered books, glue books, watercolor, and all kinds of other paper crafts related to those things. It’s geared for new junk journalers, but everyone’s welcome to play along. So, please: pull up a seat, find something delicious to drink and let’s hangout for a bit.

My goodness, such beautiful images artfully arranged! I love your groupings, especially those highlighting the warm and cold in the image. Sometimes a frozen image in a deep cool color can feel chilling especially when it’s actually happening all around you. I love the tiny bits of warmth that enable you to enjoy the frigid beauty of ice and snow. That’s going to be a beautiful contrast and prelude to your spring pages!

Awww, thanx! This has been a fun project to be sure and doing digital images was a fun twist to the game. I was going to do a St. Patrick's Day spread, but cannot find a single magazine in my hoard of magazines of that particular holiday. Ahhh well. Easter will likely be next (I can't believe our "winter" is just about over already. We've hardly had one. And late next week it's going to be near 60s here for a week...that's not winter 🦀😡😖
Hey Ker. I get the "feel" thing. That's kinda how I would do it too, I think. Loved the pages all. Especially the beastlies. Heading off to Amy!

Hey there Ker! 💚❄💜❄🖤 I just noticed that your “Berry Poppins” words are on your bird page - so glad they didn’t wind up in the nest! Oh wow, I love how your pages “feel”, and how each 2 page spread takes you from the morning light to the warm indoors to the cold night. The way you placed the images on the pages flows so well and looks absolutely enticing. Now I want to go run out in the snow! (but alas, we don’t have any atm) ☃ Totally agree about that window looking like a dark fairy tale. We both placed the window and the “up to snow good” together on the same page - they were meant for each other. Crammed in - that’s exactly my style lol! 🤣😂 We both picked the same image to be “home” after a winter adventure out! This was so much fun, I’m really looking forward to creating some Spring pages with you next! But first… I’m off to find the nearest hot cocoa bar!
