The straw seemed to work well! I think 3 and 4 are my favorites but they all look great with that color combo.

Thanks so much August! Yeah, the paint was WAY too thick and I wasn’t using any kind of bloom recipe. I’ll have to pick up a few things and try them how they should be made lol Thanks for watching!!

Bravo! My tries with the bloom have been eh. Lol I keep trying. Eventually, i will figure out that darn blow. It takes practice and then some more practce. I watch Lisa marvin video's for this technique. She is very good at it. So much so that she makes it look easy. Not easy. Lol

Love the cells in #4 but like the symmetry of the colors mixed in #2. You are inspiring me to try this! Thanks

Actually they work really nice as a set. What would you put on top of the paint Tony? I'm guessing something that can put up with the temperature of a hot drink or similar. Would ordinary varnish work?

Thanks Paul I appreciate it! I plan to resin them once they’ve cured. I think that should do the trick.

Thanks so much, Sarah! This was my first coaster set so I just decided to wing it- no sandpaper or gesso. It came straight out of the box and seemed to work out! Thanks for watching!

Good job! Did you use house paint on the bottom? What brand was that light blue violet? Man that’s a pretty color!

Thanks Katie! I actually used all acrylic, and no house paint at all. The violet and other colors was Liquitex, white was artist loft. Thanks for watching! 🤍
