Oh my, Molly! These are so pretty. When you were painting them, I preferred the one on the left - I think it was because there was less negative space on it. When they had dried, and you swapped the positions over, they just flowed so beautifully together. They are perfect together!

I've been using this dark blue for the base for years... once you start, it's hard to go back! LOL! It is SO gorgeous and makes all the other colors POP!!

I can ALMOST...not handle the excitement of seeing you do this project especially the finished product

This is a stunningly gorgeous painting. Together, they almost look like a phoenix or a dragon with the head being the part at the top right and its like it has a smoky body. Its extraordinary.

Beautiful Molly. When you were looking at it wet I was thinking no just flip the one around and they flow. Lol. Was happy to see that at the end when you hung them up. They look great together!!! Color thoughts?? - maybe indigo metallic pewter a lighter color of some kind and a deep maroon and then a metallic pearl for the swipe? Lol. I love deep rich colors.

If you’re sticking with navy blue, gold, and bronze, how about something that clashes like a fuschia or a magenta? It could be crazy enough to work.

These as LOVELY! I LOVE the beautiful teal color! I think the problem you feel you are having with the one on the right is that you have a lot of negative space on that side, whereas on the left side, the colors are closer together. On both though, you have GORGEOUS cells! When you put them together side-by-side, they look like they are MEANT to be together! The swipe on the left literally matches up with the one on the right. They are absolutely PERFECT together! I would love to see you do something with dark purple, pink and glittery gold threaded through.👍🏼

Again, you made incredibly beautiful artwork Molly. Love that color combo. I'm not sure if it would work, but my favorite color is red, the deeper and darker the better. Or try a silver/pearl mix. Can't wait to see the next one
