The thing is, we've all probably known a 'Pat' during our lives, and people like him are just so unique and special that you'll find it hard to dislike them. I'm sure Rita was the owner that knew she had to sack him, but simply couldn't because of who and how he was. It was great to still see Pat there.

@@alexanderdamberg5014 I think the story is they took over their family restaurant when their folks retired. And given they managed to keep going after filming in such a competitive place is good enough when some places are so far gone they closed after a year or so. So honestly made out well.

I think I know why La Galleria 33 has since closed down. On Google Maps, L'osteria, the restaurant owned by their parents, is listed as "women-owned"; I think that, tragically, the father or maybe both parents died, so Rita and Lisa sold La Galleria 33 and took control of L'osteria

I think we can all agree that la Galleria 33 could be a successful TV sitcom/reality show! Starring The Owner: Rita doesn't even need a script, she's a natural and always on 😂 The Busboy: Pat who assumes himself different roles/positions. One minute he is a busboy, general manager and now the owner. He is the real-life Kramer from Seinfeld! The hilarious story about getting his job back, i died 🤣 The Sister: Rita's sister who always gets smashed at work. Runs away from Gordon to grab another glass of wine. The Cook: Rita's ex husband in the kitchen. The worst cook who cooks food from floor and has a picture of Rita laying on the floor in a chicken costume so he knows to not cook the food he drops 😅 Maybe Gordon could get the band back together and turn it into a TV show!

When Gordon said 'You have a huge following in London' he wasn't making that up, these girls are a scream and how we all across the pond envisage the US, funny, love the accents, just a bundle of laughs.

Pretty sweet how excited Rita was to see Gordon... The last lady lol... keeping her belly separate from her business...

These two sisters are so funny. Home-made gelatto is a nice plus and also shows dedication to the place.

Gotta love Rita with that lovely smile, glint in her sparkling eyes, her lovely accent and zany sense of humour. Glad to see these businesses thriving and embracing what Gordon taught them.

Lisa's still hot, rita's still funny and pat is still weird. Totally love it uwu

RIP Chef Mike died like a true chef because of Chef Ramseys Jealousy from your sheer awesomeness

Watching La Galeria felt like watching The Office, but instead of a failing paper distribution company, it's a failing restaurant lol.

I guess it shows that all the anger Ramsay shows initially was because he cared. That in turn makes the owners change and become successful should they act on his advice.

In case anyone's curious, the Galleria closed up in 2018, and the building's been taken by a new restaurant. The owners didn't post anything publically, but according to some reviews at the time, it seems there were some problems that weren't brought up in the revisit, maybe coming up afterwards.
