I always had great respect for him being a hands on chef. The way he chops, fillets, Cooks from scratch always felt amazing. Post shows like Hells kitchen and others seeing all his videos of exploring and lengths he goes to learn new stuff, extremes my respect for him has gone beyond bounds. Hats off to this legend!!!

I love Gordon goes to the culture and fits in. U can tell he’s devoted to what he does.
Absolutely fascinating! I love to see how other cultures prepare their food, and what an honour to be invited into their village to see how they do things! Usually I watch these and think how lucky I would be to have Gordon cater my meals, but for this episode I can’t help but feel how lucky it would be to be Gordon having a meal with this tribe. What a cool job he has!

Both because I love Gordon as a chef and seeing him interact with new and interesting cuisines is amazing, but also because it's really interesting to see the different cultures and foods of said cultures around the world in places you normally wouldn't is amazing.

I work with a Cambodian and let me tell you, some of the stories he told me of his childhood would make your head spin! As he told me, all you have to do is watch "The Killing Fields" for some perspective and it don't even show you a quarter of what happened! God bless the survivors and rest in peace to the others!

I mean not really. I don't know where you got the idea that poeple willing to do that are that rare. If you are passionate for food which is the case of most really big time cooks, you will try to discover as much foods and cooks as you can. It's like saying that a painter won't try to find the best or most original paintings. Doesn't make sense.
I like how he owns very expensive restaurants, cars, homes etc, and he could be anywhere in the world, yet he spends time outdoors learning from other cultures.. I have respect for him. Wow.. Thanx for all the likes!! God bless you all!!
