My #2 favorite G & G routine after #1 "The Man I Love". Never will be another couple like this. Their love shined through both of them. I wish they could have had their "happily ever after". It was a huge loss for all of us, but mostly for Katia, who looked at him as if he was the only man in the world. I hope someone has the original copies of all of these routines, so future audiences can see and appreciate them. Forever G & G ❤️

I saw them perform this program at a different event in 1994 and parts of it are still burned in my memory-I remember him doing the footwork at :33 and I remember how she looked when the music went “I’ve got my man.” I’m not sure why this is so, because I couldn’t tell you what the other skaters did that day. But you couldn’t take your eyes off of them, and it’s true that pairs skaters are a thousand times more exciting than singles skaters in a live show. I also remember that final lift at the end, she’s going like 30 miles an hour down the ice, way up in the air on his one hand, and you’re thinking, how is this possible? You get used to the lifts and throws on TV, but in real life, they were truly astonishing...

This program is very entertaining to watch

I recently fell in love with couples figure skating and have been watching different teams. I can say that this couple had beautiful chemistry on the ice and a level of artistry that is incomparable to the rest. May Sergei Rest in eternal peace.

I still watch these videos in 2020. G&G were magnificent on the ice and you can’t take your eyes off of them. I was always amazed at how fast they moved around the ice and how much of the ice they covered.

Потрясающая пара,великолепные партнёры,классные костюмы,замечательные номера-восторг ,восхищение, такие счастливые и всё у них ладилось,блииин у меня даже мысли,что может их сглазили-ну не мог так молодой,красивый,внезапно умереть,ведь спортсменов постоянно проверяют врачи. Жаль,жаль аж слезы😢,ну почему такое счастье было недолго? И почему они уехали в америкв?

This type of triple twist seems to have fallen out of favor with today’s skaters. They’re all doing the lateral twist now, which in my opinion is clunkier to look at.

@Mi Sty My best guess would be 2018 or 2019 around the date of his passing. I watch these almost every night. I still miss his beautiful skating, watching their love grow. They were the best. He is truly missed.💖💔
