Do you feel the smaller display size/sharpness is noticeable on G3X compared to G3 Max? Is it worth paying an extra $500 for G3 Max? - G3X is available on kickstarter now for $560. G3 Max $1100 on Amazon.

max is 1440p. and 120hz at 1080. enough pros for me. the view is more wide/immersive in max

@@izzylieThanks. I just wish G3 Max was a true 4K with HDR .. that would make it future proof. Also, not sure why the G3 Max is much bigger and heavier than the G3X. The OLED size difference is only a few mm.

its most definitely not an hdr screen. it may be able to receive hdr signal and ps5 uses this report. but the oleds inside themselves are sdr. it does not detect as hdr for me but i may check again

I connected G3 Max to my Rog Ally with a single TypeC cable (altDP), and windows reports that HDR is not supported in display capabilities. I'm sure there is an error in the way that other reviewer connected the device, is is using a splitter or something and the HDR capability comes from the the larger AOC screen he is filming, not goovis
