this is great! and maybe if you were wanting to filter by region/team/roles/etc , you could add a blend with the sales data relating to the spreadsheet you created , so the filter waterfalls trough the data, and you can see not only your own sales, but your team's , or whatever your role lets you see.

That's great! Thanks a lot. One question regarding the printing, if you can suggest some solution: How to get a long table to show data across multiple pages? I have a table that I wish to include in a report that has about 300 rows of data. I have included the table on a single page, and when I print out the report to PDF, I can only see a single page with about 50 rows.

Hi @dsky. If you want the same functionality when you want change access dynamically, you can use Utilize (www.utilize.app). On Utilize you can create an app and add/remove users dynamically.

I thought it could be an option for each person with an user an key, could entry and see its own data, anyway it 's ok as all your videos. I would like to learn how to upload a file from a google form (app script) as i know how to download but not how to upload and see the file from the form. Oh my god! I used import range on so many sheets already. Thank you so much for this! But can this be used if there are 2 or 3 sales reps in connection of 1 Sales? 1. Example: This Guy and Nia sales the same Undershirt (the data is input on the same row). This Guy account for 50% of the Sales and Nia account for the other 50% How can This Guy see only 50% of the original Sales amount with Data Studio? Reps 1 Reps support item Total Sales This Guy Nia Shirts 5000 2. Except for this function, do you think the Data Studio is the same as Pivot table?

Sir, With due respect, I am the biggest fan of your channel of videos. such a great video. I have a problem. I have some spreadsheets so I can't protect the passed date cell automatically. I don't use data validation. because If I use data validation then spread sheet share anybody he can change. But I am an admin/ owner. I want nobody to change the date cell. how is it possible....? Sir.. please help me 🙏🙏🙏

i dont want to use google data studio, is it possible to filter data in google sheet itself based on the user who has logged in. So whoever user has logged in should see data based on their email address

Brilliant. Brilliant. Brilliant. Stupid question... you used made up email addresses. Does the person viewing the GDS report have to be logged in? Cos that won't work with the dummy emails... And following on from that, could you use a different variable to filter it - some other unique thing, like the name for instance? Or am I missing the whole point? Thanks for this video it is a lifesaver already. And thanks in advance if you answer this question...

Yes, they need to be logged in and their email needs to match what's in the spreadsheet.

Actually if this can be done it will be super helpful, i'm creating a report for my team and i want it to only show data for each one seperately, but i also want to use the same report so i need it to show the whole team using the same view, if that makes any sense
