The horse picture you like is a very popular one, keep looking- it comes in many sizes. Can usually find one at every antique store. Love the tree picture you purchased. It looks so restful & relaxing. The 1st tree picture u showed, I liked too.
Every time when I go to a thrift store, I feel that life is so abundant:)
So glad you snagged the stone planter! I love it! It’s so cute how do you styled it!
I love anything with the pink roses on them.
I really like how you show us pieces even if you don’t get them. It’s nice to see things from different areas and be able to compare prices. You found some great stuff for your home. Great video. I love watching your channel, Maranda Christine and Genevieve Lynn.

Hi from julie! The green stuff on your glorious pumpkin is called verdigris, you see it on a lot of old copper pennies a lot!

AND the greenish blue coating that covers the copper of the Statue of Liberty.
I love the pumpkin! I am pretty sure that patina is called Verdigris. That usually has a green pigment.
Great video friend! I completely understand the filming in those goodwills. They keep me on my toes too!
The greenish blue patina that forms on brass is called “verdigris”. A natural occurrence of oxidation aging on the surface of the metal. To remove it naturally you can combine the juice of half a lemon, teaspoon of corse salt and a teaspoon of baking soda mix into a “paste.” Apply to the tarnished area with soft cloth and let sit for about 30 minutes. Rinse with warm warm, dry with soft cloth. Reapply and repeat if necessary.
Danielle, you find the best Art pieces. Love the picture! I’m not sure what is on the Brass piece, but I see it a lot and have no clue what they call it…LOL! But patina or aged sounds good. That is what they say about silver and copper ! AND YES, you should have gotten the copper pot ❤️❤️❤️ I love the Toile Print to, but doesn’t go with my decor either. So we can love it from a distance! 👍 💛💛🌻🌻💛💛
The picture of the tree I love too
Lots of great stuff
I love that verdigris pumpkin it’s beautiful!!
Fun to see your thrift hauls just found your channel so I subscribed. I use Old English scratch cover on wood flaws like picture frames and furniture...you find really interesting stuff. love your channel
Nice haul…. I love your pix on these thrifty hauls! Your house looks great!♥️
I think the green on the brass is called verdigris….copper carbonate Fir the picture frame you can clean with half oil and half vinegar , buff off. Apply wax type boot polish ( the solid stuff which comes in a tun) with fine steel wool. The fine steel wool will make it less shiny. Boot polish covers a multitude of sins 😊
Really great finds, the framed tree my fav .. Don’t be afraid of orange stain remover it’s so easy just a bit messy but if you’re prepared it’s really ok 🤗💕
I love Julie!
The painting is awesome.
the little blue plate in the beginning of the video is antique Wedgwood
Old English polish would cover the scrapes on the frame. There are stain crayons in different colors too. Love the picture.
I love Julie also!
I wnjoy your shoppig and styling videos
Hello from Dothan Alabama! I am watching your channel because Thrilled Thrifter sent me!
Loved your haul and Julie's. You ladies do a great job with your decor. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
The green on brass is called verdigris (green). It's the patina that brass and copper get when they're unlacquered.
Oh The Girl Reading piece! I've been looking for that forever!

Me too!!! I love it!!
Sooooo I’m not sure, but….. the corrosion on the brass planter could possibly be where a pet marked it 😱🤣 I only know cause my older fur baby marked a planter of mine and it looked really similar……but maybe I’m wrong? Sorry!

I meant to add, I love your channel. I’m totally addicted to your style and hauls!
That rail shelf is on my favorites list. I hope o e shows up at my local thrift shop.
The rabbit!! 🐰
You could stain the parts of that frame that are chipped off And then put a high gloss sealer over it so it will match.
Loved everything
Brass from India right now is sought after AN brass is coming back SO THE PUMPKIN IS MY FAVORITE AND THE CEMENT POT YOU'RE JUST SO SWEET I'M GOING TO SUBSCRIBE I LOVE YOUR VIDEOS AND HOW YOU SHOW YOUR HAUL AT THE END GOOD VIDEO ❤️
Love the planter!!!
Came over from.thrilled thrifter and subscribed. 😊
hey girl, newbie to your channel and love it. Julie sent me
I would have bought that cabinet as well, and the wood watering can! TFS & God Bless...
I LOVED the Stone Planter..... I Would HAVE gotten the Copper Pot and Lid TOO..... I LOVED the the Spice Picture, You didn't get either......
The picture with tree could use furniture crayon and fill in the nick area. I would just paint frame ! Love your channel!
Great haul 😊 have the exact same cement pot love it!
I clicked on your video because of the thumb nail. I have a picture by the same artist. It's of a little boy watching a horse shodding. Yes it's in a large frame too.
If that crock was cheap enough it would have been the ideal thing to paint with baking soda paint for a different look.
The green is from oxidation on the metal, brass is an alloy of copper (and zinc) which is what turns green, don't ask why I know this, lol.
Thrilled Thrifter recommended your videos.
My fav is that brass pumpkin! So cute! My Mom has the picture that was your thumbnail. It was my grandparents. Love the basket too to make your home look Fally! 🧡💛🧡☢️
If you're afraid of messing up the frame on the tree picture, first try just touching up the frame with wood stain markers and then cleaning it with some old English furniture oil. It might surprise you how good it'll look after that.
Liked your tree painting - looks a little like an artist named Windberg.
The lamb!! 🐑
Beautiful finds ❤
So glad to see channel, I am subscriber from Julie's..

That turtle looked like a soap dish! =)
I found out about your channel from Thrilled Thrifter. Nice Haul. I like the Pumpkin.
Keep up the good job love the thrift haul
It might be a lot easier to get some chalk paint wax, a black maybe, and wipe it right over the finish on your frame and it might fix it lickety split lol
The Detlefsen print which you left behind is valuable. I collect them but I've never seen one in a thrift store.

Clean it right away or it will spread to other metal pieces. I resell jewelry and verdigris is aweful.
👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
Pity you didn't take that 18th century print of Lady reading with the amazing Gold frame you could have resold it for over $100.
What are all the magic marker initials on every item?

That’s how they write what price it is so people can’t switch tags.
I'm pretty sure that the first piece have copper oxide. Is not that bad for your skin, unless you have very sensitive skin.
Hi I’m new to your channel and love your content! I was wondering if you could tell me how to find the value of something?
@HomeMadeVintage
3 жыл бұрын
I just google it & then also look the item up on eBay and toggle “Sold items only” so you can see what it’s actually selling for and not what people are listing it at.

The price in your area is a little bit too high for a thrift store.
