My inspiration today came from my grandparents old row boat. It brought back so many memories as I was envisioning all the distressed & chippy details of that old row boat. I love how it turned out!!
Even before I started being a stockist for IOD…I had my favorite go to stamps…Kindest Regards & Le Courier!! These can be used in so many different applications!! They are must haves in any DIY’ers toolbox!

Gorgeous projects! I live how you out the courrier label on the side like the boats name! Im obsessed with those pears with shipwrecked wax ❤I think Sandy Blonde would be a beautiful color to try in a Makers Box. Its beautiful ❤ Also, Monets Garden and Pennies from Heaven ❤ tfs ❤

The fruit is super cool!!! Next time you try a metallic paint, try red underneath for a brighter metallic or black for a more aged metallic and leave just a tad of the black peaking out... Cover the red pretty much completely. But, I love using copper and green/blue patina paints!

I heard that you shouldn’t dip your brush straight into the jar of DIY paint, because it can get a foul odor, do you find this to be true?

Yes Kimberly, because of its natural ingredients it can go bad if you don’t use it very often. I am constantly going through my supplies, so I don’t have any problems with it getting contaminated. 😊
