I needed a bit of thrifting therapy so I hit up a few of the local Goodwills! I was on the hunt for some items to upcycle in my August Makers Box video! I found a ton of great stuff and I can't wait to flip in an upcoming video!!
I hope I’ve inspired you to go out and thrift some items to upcycle into beautiful home decor!!

I would try to sell the bean pot as is first - you said yourself you never find them with the lid. If it doesn’t sell then upcycle it.
Hi Sonnet. The picnic basket with the unpainted lid should go in your booth as is first. This is what I look for. Great haul!

The basket with the birdhouses on the lid, just paint the basket a coordinating color. Just use the big basket as an up cycle. I think you should leave the bean pot as is also. Love your thrfiting videos!

Sonnet the metal funnel-like looking is for canning. It is like a funnel to put up your fruits and veggies into jars.

I think you need to paint those really light candlesticks, and the picnic basket. I think doing so will make them more marketable.

I think the large picnic basket should have an IOD transfer, not Royce Paper. You got so many great things on your haul. I can;t wait to see what you do with them.

The big basket hangs on the wall. They have very expensive. I have a smaller one in my bathroom.

@@SonnetsGardenBlooms you did a great job on your Whatnot sale today! To be selfish would you consider doing whatnot every other Wednesday and maybe an evening whatnot, so that we still get lives on Wednesday and your evening viewers don’t miss your sales!

Got my Makers Box on Saturday. It was 113 degrees that day and it sat in mailbox for a few hours. I hope the heat didn’t affect the paint. 🤞🤞

WI Craft Market had 3 location, 2 in Madison. They closed in in 2017.

Sonnet, please don't change the bean pot! So many people want actual old items to decorate with, you don't need to upcycle it!!!!

The chunky candle pillars need paint Sonnet. Maybe with some rub n buff
Put a beautiful floral rub on on top of the picnic basket. Wax the basket.
