I am excited colors are coming back. I hope primitive colors like Mustard, Rust Red, and Evergreens come back with the darker waxes as well as with the white waxes. The birds on the barn wood was my favorite. Thank you for sharing!

I liked everything, especially the cottage plate and the birds board.

I love the plates. And the birds on the wood. Tip: place a lint roller on each side of the round pieces. They will keep the item from rolling.

If you want to stamp directly on ceramics in the future, try StazOn. That works on most smooth surfaces like glass, metal and ceramics.

For the crocks.... use two lint rollers.... one on each side. I have seen other youtubers use those to hold round things in place.

4:36 You could also mask off a background for the emblem (paper bag and blue tape). Then you could leave the rest of the crock untouched. There's an opportunity for three colors at least. Chalk paint vining or "embroidery" (like blanket stitching or whip stitching) around the background is yet another way to add another color and more cottagecore flavor. My faves were the birds and the plate, it's a toss up. :)

I loved all your transformations! The paint color Blue Batik (pronounced Ba-teek) is really pretty. FYI…Batik is a method of dying fabric with a wax-resist to create the pattern or image.

Stick a lint roller on each side of round objects to hold them in place.

I've seen people use two sticky lint rollers on either side of crocks that they are stamping. Seems to work pretty well.

If you place a lint brush on each side the sticky paper will hold your crock in place while you do your stamping.

I have that same metal bird hook. I love it. I might do what you did here. I have never seen another one. I wonder if that is how they originally came...on that sign, or if someone handmade the sign? I only have the birds, not attached to any sign. I do like the way they are painted. I made some bird molds, for clay, from those birds.

I think it was made for that picture that I took it off but it was falling off a bit so maybe that’s what happened to yours.

Thank you for asking for questions. My confusion is regarding Wax. I bought Waverly clear and antique, what is the differences between these and a cream wax or a wax that is a dense and a stiple brush is used? How do you decide what type of wax is best? Dana

You should try DIY paint or Dixie Bell paint. Both are wonderful. Looks like an older Pampered Chef table runner or towel you’re using lol.

@@SonnetsGardenBlooms I use both DIY & Dixie Belle.. Dixie Belle has Easy Peasy spray wax which is nice sometimes. DIY paint really lightens up big time when it dries but top coat it or was it & the color pops again.

I like the birds! Will you attach a hanger to the back before you sell it? It is so cute.

try 2 lint rollers to hold your round pieces from rolling.

My favorites are the birds plaque and the blue cottage but on camera it looks like it’s not centered.

Is that pigment ink or acid/alcohol ink? My white pigment ink really never dried… maybe because it’s for paper? Any advice?

How does a beginner learn what paint. wax, seal works on different surfaces?

Did you prime this piece or do you prime any of these pieces before you paint them because if you didn’t it’s gonna peel

The white crocks I sealed but the old crock I did not seal.

I think you could have sprayed the crocks with clear matte Rustoleum and not changed the color and the design would have adhered
