I have the Zilla rock lair and I love it and so does my snake. The rough exterior helps her shed as she can rub against it.Great Video!

My sister and I are having our first Xmas with no parents,and this year I really wanted to create hides and terrarium decor to make her feel special. This has helped so,so much. Thank you ❤

I have the exo terra LARGE Snake cave for my Leopard Gecko and he’s always in there. It’s very spacious, good looking, and designed so he doesn’t make a mess. It’s also my favorite hide because he always has a smooth shed and he always digest food well because of the humidity. 10/10

I have the Fischuel humidity cave and so far I have been able to keep the humidity inside in the 60%-70% range as long as I keep them full and use a moisture holding substrate like moss or Eco-Earth beneath it. Just got to refill the little porcelain dishes in the top part everyday like one does when refilling water dishes and let it circulate for a few hours at the start. All the complains about it not being humid enough needed established humidity levels right away and this is for someone who has more prep time to set up and let it “build up steam” as it were.

I have the half logs but I don’t use it as a hide I use it for clutter. My ball python loves the rock lairs

The hides with the water bowls on top are supposed to leak through the terracotta. I don’t know how glazed ceramic would work

In addition, the real-wood logs won't hold heat from a deep heat projector like the ceramic/resin ones.

The Zilla Hide all.the way for a humid hide. I ended up buying 2 more for my 2 girls to use as cool hides. Then I had to purchase 4 more for my new Caledonians. They love them too.

Is it suppose to be warm inside? My moss is so cold and I can’t get the humidity to raise

Is that Liam looking big and healthy, that's a long life, I agree the hide where you add water, I don't think it would work.

Mediums, the small ones didn't really work for me with a full grown Leo

With the exoterra one, my gecko doesn’t seem to want to enter it.

That's interesting, I've never had that with any of the geckos i've had. But every reptile is different so it doesn't surprise me too much. Mine refuses to go into humid hides with moss so i have to use paper towels or other media
