In season 1, there were definitely romantic vibes between Crowley and Aziraphale, yet I couldn't imagine them getting actually "physical" in any way. But when they kissed, it was a true "wawoom" moment. And this edit captures that feeling perfectly. 😍

But now as I look back, it was always Crowley who would initiate anything for them, he was the one wanting them to work together to prevent Armageddon, he was the one to propose to "go off together" to Alpha Centauri, he apologized, he was heartbroken to find Aziraphale's shop in flames. Granted, it was Aziraphale who would look at him with big puppy eyes, but Crowley was and is the driving force. And in season two Aziraphale was literally the reason for Crowley's existence, honestly, I want a man who loves me and is going around after like Crowley does for Aziraphale ❤❤

What's funny is in the book? You could definitely just see them as best friends. Then Neil got Permission to make it a show. It was like nope more than friand for that, I will always be grateful.

@@reclaimyourbodyguide494 behind his cool facade, Crowley does not only have a soft spot for Aziraphale- as you say, the angel is in fact his only reason to stay on Earth. Thus my heart aches for him, because he repeatedly tried to convince Aziraphale to just go off together. In the pavilion in S1, it seemed that, for a second, Azira was about to accept Crowley's offer- before going right back into his offensive mode. To me, it seems like this is some kind of panic, his faith in Heaven runs down into the deepest core of his ethereal essence. The final scene in the bookshop, as devastating as it was, is the perfect example. He wants Crowley just as much, but upon completely other terms. He lives in their past, hoping to get back the angel Crowley once was. He doesn't see (or want to accept) that this angel is long since gone. So yes, he'll have to find out that Heaven is just an empty place for him with nothing to be found but corruption. And I hope that, once he'll fall from that empty place, Crowley will be there for him- just like he always was. Geez, I'm so waiting for that 3rd season! 🥰

Same, I was really interested in how they would develop their relationship in s2. I mean the romantic undertones in s1 weren’t really undertones, more like overtones, but still I wasn’t sure whether they would fully commit to it or not. I couldn’t imagine it, not really, but when it did happen, it felt completely right.
