I think why we feel so desperate is because we've been robbed of the happy ending. The whole S2 was a built up of this beautiful relationship between 2 people, only to have 2 completely different people to go and have that happily ever after. They even were the bad guys of S1! Great video by the way, thanks.

Same thing happened to me! (it was a Good Omens vid to Muddy Waters). LP is fantastic, and I love it when fandom videos introduce me to new, great music.

I love this uptempo though still sad song. So many of these edits use kind of sappy slow ballads.

Удивительная штука получается... Просмотрев финал раза два, я не заплакала, хотя и прониклась сценой. Посмотрев аниматики я всё также не заплакала. Но вот настал тот момент, когда я сижу вся в слезах, просмаиривая этот видеоролик. Он прекрасен. Великолепен. И... Видимо я окончательно осознала финал только сейчас. Моё сердце и душа разбиты. Magnificent video, the song totally talks about them. I really admire and appreciate the people who spend the enormous amount of time and work necessary to create clipping videos like this one. In addition, you have to know the series very well and put together everything that has already been said in delay to create the message that they really wanted to say in the final scene of chapter 6. Lovely video! I'd never heard this song before, and LOVE it. The editing is great too. I won't be able to watch that last scene without thinking of this now, because it fits with the song so well. He had opened his soul in front of HIS angel and what he got from him? I forgive you. Nothing else... He pushed Crowley all the time using their special friendship, definetely knowing about Crowley`s love or guessing about it, at least. I want to believe that I can blame the cup of coffee from the BIG GUY in the elevator, but my heart was broken anyway :(

I don’t agree. I think Crowley and Aziraphale just love each other and never realised it for themselves until the last two episodes of season 2. After the last scene they BOTH feel rejected. Crowley thinks Aziraphale doesn’t love him back and Aziraphale thinks that Crowley just tried to tempt him to stay on earth and that he played with his feelings. Aziraphale is brainwashed from heaven (not the cup of coffee, just the institution of heaven) and is confused. He begins to realise that Crowley is kinda right about heaven and wants to make a difference and change it for the better. He hesitated but when Metatron talked about the “second coming” he knew he had to go. For years Crowley and Aziraphale couldn’t communicate right with each other. I also think that the apology dance stands for that miscommunication. Because they just say “you were right and I was wrong”, but they don’t really talk about the problem. Summed up, I think they just misunderstood each other and are both brokenhearted in the end and it has nothing to do with the almond coffee

Alas, I'm afraid their lives won't be enough for anything more sparkling.
