I agree with Carrie. There isn't enough money for me to take maths again, and the thing is I agree that I understand maths less now than I did then because even though I only left school 4 years ago in terms of GCSEs, I remember basically nothing about circle theorems or pythagoras so I'd probably do worse than I did the first time.

@@mackenziemaybarraclough1207 tbh if I went back now I would be horrendous. Most of the stuff I was taught 13yrs ago for GCSE (felt weird typing that) I don't use.

You can tell that Carrie and Oliver had very different experiences of being a teen from their response to the 5 year old question - I'm with Carrie, you couldn't pay me to repeat my teen years!

Same. My teen years and like my high school years were the worst years of my life. They say high school is the best time of your life and you only realise that after you leave - I call bs. They were HORRIBLE and I would never do them again, EVER.

Someone please edit together every time Ollie says ‘luuuurvly emails’ cus it’s honestly the highlight of my day, everyday :)

Neither super sensitive hearing or super sensitive taste are good things in the long run! I have a sensory processing disorder so have both and it’s not fun. Firework season is ear defender season in this house 😂

Carrie your reaction to reliving your teen years 😂 personally I'd love to redo my teen years with what I know now: not waste my time on a group of friends who were assholes, spend more time with my grandparents, be bolder in my decisions. Yeah redoing my gcses will be crap but I'd do it to have an extra day with my grandparents! Great video!

As someone who is highly sensitive, sensitive hearing is the absolute worst haha. I'm always getting triggered by noises my bf doesn't even notice, it's exhausting.

I would definitely go back to being five knowing what I know now!

9:51 oh there is the lion diet apparently, for those who have a lot of allergies. I've heard Jordan Petersons daughter talk about it. Sort of like an elimination diet, where you only eat meat, water and salt. Then afterwards start adding more along the way and see how the body reacts.

so does this mean carrie would then be half an hour early to being twenty minutes early?

I have so many things I'd be able to fix, harms I'd be able to avoid, if I could be 5 with what I know now. Knowing now what me from the future knows (unless it's winning lottery numbers) probably can't help me in a meaningful way, certainly not like undoing decades of harm.

I'd talk to animals because I'd probably be a lot less afraid of them if I could understand. I wouldn't go back to age5, maybe older. I'd love the knowledge of the rest of my life but I haven't lived my dream job like Carrie has so going back is definitely tempting :)

Would you rathers are always so interesting because they're typically vague enough that everyone interprets them differently. And I always end up having more questions about the scenarios. Like for the one with going back to 5 years old and knowing what you know now vs staying as you are but having the knowledge of your future self - I interpreted it differently than Carrie and I think that having the knowledge of your future self would mean that you know what's going to happen in the future because your future self knows history. I think that's part of your knowledge. My future self will have the knowledge of who wins the 2020 presidential election for example. So yeah, I think you would know future events. I don't know which one I'd rather do though haha. And then the one with giving up heating/AC vs giving up internet. Do you have to give up using the internet entirely?? Or is it just where you live? Because if it's where you live then I would just chose no internet but go to cafes and libraries a lot more often. Or just find a way to steal someone else's internet haha.

I’m currently a teen doing her GCSEs so when I’m an adult, no sum of money will make me repeat this!

Unfortunately that question about either keeping a relationship hidden or having everyone hate you is genuinely real for so many lgbt people😢 felt like it hit a bit close to home I had to keep my first girlfriend a total secret from everyone cos I knew my family WOULD hate her and stop me from seeing her. it wasn’t a fun time xx

Glad someone else doesn’t want to be a teen again! I’m 19 (twenty next month) and ngl I’m relieved to put that decade behind me. Teachers in school used to keep saying those were the best years of my life.... BOLLOX! College is much better.

I would prefer too lose my phone, if I lost my keys I would be paranoid that someone has the keys too my house, car, garage, everything, I would have too get a new car and change the locks on EVERYTHING, so I think a phone would be easier too replace 🤷‍♂️ give me your opinions below vvvv

Thing is, if a dog is after you you go behind a fence, climb a tree etc. With birds unless your in a building you can't out run them 🙈😂

I DO want to live my teenage years again. Not because they were great (was anyone's teenage years great?) but if I went there known what I do now, I'd be nicer to my parents, I would realise that there are no such things as fickle friends, just fickle people. There is also one path that I take that I don't really regret taking, just, if I could do it again, I would take the other path. Anyone who would choose birds over dogs has not had a proper go-round with a Canada goose! Carrie, do not wish for super hearing! Nobody wish for that! It's horrible. Everything...like you stroking Edgar would interfere with Ollie's voice. You can't eat and have a conversation at the same time and airports/train stations or anywhere playing music is incapacitating.

I don’t have aircon or heating in Australia and I hate it. I’m freezing cold in winter and boiling hot in summer. I think England has better windows and insulation in your houses. We have stupidly made houses here, with Europe design but it’s Australia, and they don’t put good materials in. It’s a glorified tent really.

People who only eat meat and nothing else do exist :) it’s called the carnivore diet haha my parents we’re doing that for about a year
