my grandmother asked me to sing this song for our talent show and this helped me out so much! honestly there are very few GOOD tutorials out there like this that arent just so simple, or SO HARD!thanks for helping make my grandmother proud of me! lol

I found your channel when searching Hillsong music for ukulele. I've had my uke for two and a half weeks and have been practicing 30-60 minutes every day. 'Good Good Father' is one of my favorite songs and your tutorial was so simple and clear I was able to follow along easily. You now have a new subscriber! God bless you and keep up the good work.

This is a great tutorial. I just got my ukulele about a week ago and I've been practicing everyday. The only things I'm really struggling with are how to transition between chords smoothly and singing while playing. I find the singing part way more difficult though. And it's a bit frustrating because I want to be able to do both at the same time, but find that I begin messing up with the strumming while I'm trying to sing. Do you have any suggestions on how to sing and play the uke at the same time? Thanks. 😊

Hi Natasha! Congratulations on getting your new ukulele - that is super exciting. And GREAT job practicing everyday - that is key! You are not alone in struggling with transitioning between chord singing, and you are also not along in finding that strumming + singing can be difficult. I am working on tutorials for both of these things :) In the mean time, I would say get really good at the singing part (to the point of memorization) and also get really good at the playing point (to the point of memorization) completely separate of one another. After that, then slowly work at putting them both together!

Create a practice routine and stick to it! 5 days/week if possible, 30 minutes minimum.

Why does my ukelele sound nothing like yours😭😭idk if its the type of ukelele i have or the quality of the ukelele i have but when i put my fingers on the strings it makes such an awful and weird sound. Idk if i tuned it right i tuned it by ear and watched so many videos on tuning but can someone please help me 😭idk what im doing wrong.
