Watch the BBC first on iPlayer 👉 bbc.in/iPlayer-Home A robber meets his match in new police drama: 'Good Cop, Indian Mum Cop'.
David Walliams is joined by actress, writer and comedian Meera Syal. Together for the first time, these two classic sketch performers introduce us to the sadly disappointing pleasure robots of tomorrow.
David and Meera also play a squabbling husband and wife, desperately trying to explain their problematic marriage to their young daughter using her Peppa Pig dolls. A struggling actress auditions for the role of background extra in the evening news, and a robber meets his match in the BBC's newest police drama Good Cop, Indian Mum Cop.
Walliams & Friend is a comedy series in which David Walliams is joined by a different guest in each episode for a variety of sketches, alongside a talented supporting cast.

Probably as I think they ridiculed this girl's saying and took what aunt had to say about "bad behavior" or "too much freedom" I am really sorry to hear that not also not stuck on some sorry, I will help a person who gets treated badly not always of course but if I get a chance, counting men and women both

Well , Indian parents love their kids , it's just that there are barriers which the kids aren't supposed to cross . I have never been hit with a sandal or a broom but I have been slapped & my mom cried everytime she has slapped me . It's more of a cultural thing & it comes out of respect & not fear. Unlike the west where kids mostly abandon their parents & maybe meet once every couple of years , most of the Indian kids live with their parents , even after getting a job & getting married & it's a perfectly normal thing . :) We are like an elephant herd : we never leave our elderly.

It's complicated. While it's funny, it's actually really traumatic. Most of the time, Indian parents' love is extremely conditional, actually toxic. They hardly have any life outside of their children's ones and so they control it as much as they can. At times even by killing their children (if you dare to marry outside your caste or religion). So Indian parents, will always let you stay at their home, save and leave everything to you, feed you home cooked meals, but on return you oblige every expected social behavior.

Watched this BBC programme with great care. Conclusion for me was Good-bye original Britain. It now looks like Pakistan-India, with foreign accents and rapid changes to the demographics. We observe severe dilution of Britishness & its own class of humour. What a way to punctuate the 70th Jubilee with reverse colonisation of Britain. The reverse is true - u will never see a governor of Mumbai or Islamabad of foreign descent. Today, a RISHI Sunak and spending public funds, while a pro-radical militant Sadiq Khan presided over London. Massive Demographic shifts are upon us. The Welsh, Celts, Scots, English, Irish will soon be day be set aside as tsunamis of diversity and rapid growth rates of certain groups change the fundamental nature of the British Isles. Run the simulations and models, whichever way you like - Britain will soon have Hindi & Urdu as National languages. Forget Gaelic, it be an unimpressive minority struggling to retain its culture, identity and raison d’etre. Prepare to close down libraries & churches that celebrate Christian traditions. Western values will soon be obscured and discarded.

MadGirl BitchingBoutStuffs Some countries, especially the Norwegian ones HAVE to do that in order to continue to maintain a working military that can be deployed at a moment's notice if they're invaded. Especially since they're usually the "in between countries" others would go through in order to get the big ones like France, Spain, Russia, etc. Not everyone has the population of the US. From what I understand the practice was picked up after the World Wars. If there's someone who is a bigger expert on the subject, please feel free to correct me. PS, I do believe in at least a few of them one can supplement army time for community service, but that lasts longer.

Joshua Ward and how the hell did u get to that conclusion? Of course I care wen a man is forced to serve in combat too! I actually sad that in my first comment too! Don't just go around assuming peoples thoughts and values thats highly inappropriate and rude. Of course I care. I dont think ANYONE should be forced to serve! On that point I actually want to thank you callian r for your answer. I can understand that smaller countrys have a problem getting enough people to serve. I actually don't life in America. I life in Germany. The military here is free and a well payed job that usually opens a lot of doors. And even we cant really reach the numbers we want. I find it understandible when small countrys that simply have no other choice do that. But i think that if they have to force the people, then that army can only be for defence ever. I think that we all can agree that war is terrible. And that no one should be forced to participate in a war that issnt strictly nessesery. And I know that I can count myself darn lucky that i life in a country rich enough to spare that to me, but imagening that maybe someday my government could force me or my loved ones to kill in there name, to go threw war no matter if I or they agree to the reson or not... that idear is simply terrifying. I actually really don't like this way of policy were a military is needed anyway. I think humanity could do so much better then that. I find it sad that small countries even have to do it. Then agan I dont have a better solution. That all reminds me that there is problems with women in combat too. Like i already agreed that women can serve in the military, not all women and not all man are made for it. Expesshally most women arnt able to be compared to man. They cant lift the same Waights and are overall just not as much 'buld' for battle. Also women are incredibly important for the creation of the next generation. One man can impragnent many women, and technology even gave us the possibility to freeze sperm and reactivade it later. But women cant just skip there part as easaly. So is it really justified to force every woman to serve? The same goes for weaker man. Not all man are equally strong and capable for combat. Thats what makes a forcefull services so flawed. But man are more likly to be able to. They do have a natural advantage over women here. Then agan it would be shit to force man but women are fine out... I think it all comes down to the fact that a forced military is not good but sometimes necessary. And forced combat for women.. well that is a bit more complicated. Can we really equalise between the genders, if biology defently plays a big role here? I guess that depends on the situation. Im trying to think rational here. Because it happend here before. After the war practicly all man were dead or missing. And women had to take over. But over time enough women worked jobs that were originally man's and bared children. Thinking practical, what if you make all people serve, who is left to run the jobs and create the new generation? A time limit for service is a good way to ease up on that, but if almost all young women of a country die then that is a huge problem. Of course on a moral base its just as terreble if man die, i really don't want to sugarcoat that, a person issnt less important 'because penis'. But wen thinking rational and about the future of a country after a war, they are. No one should be forced to serve, but sometimes the circumstances wont give the countrie a choice. And on a moral base everyone should in that case serve, but making women serve may result in huge problemes after the war. These are my thoughts on the matter. I would be glad for anyone to share theirs with me to so i can expand my knowledge too. (I also want to apologize for my grammar, English is not my first language and i basically have to go by autocorrect. And we all know how shitty that can work out)
