If opponent attacks with unsettled Bronco, it gets a land. If I attack with unsettled Bronco, Draco manifests on top of my deck.

Dude lol had that happened to me last night at my lgs playing zoo with bronco...was hitting him for 2 constantly & I only had bronco out so tried & got hit for 12 😂

All my paper cards have been golgari exclusively for the past decade at least. Still hasn't gotten old. Golgari is just that fun. So it's always good to see CGB coming back to the club every time he can pull himself away from azorius control - y'know, having fun instead of just sucking away everyone else's... as much as I too enjoy seeing the life force drained out of opponents because their game is longer than 30 seconds.

I love the snake-horse noise Caustic Bronco makes on ETB on Arena.

@25:13 the moment I was waiting for: Yes, it's that card. And CGB's reaction is worth every second.

This is perfect for my daily quest of playing 40 creatures. I took out Bronco in favor of some more removal, and added a Preacher here and a Faerie Dreamthief there. Love it overall! Glissa is great.

CGB In the first game, the opponent wouldn't have drawn the 4th recruiter because he was under your bat the whole game.

I wonder why other people's bo1 standard experience is so different. I played 20 games at the top end of platinum yesterday with Reid's Golgari Midrange deck and I played mono red 3 times and boros convoke once. The rest of the games were against all kinds of decks, one greedier than the next. Re-animator, domain, golgari ramp, orzhov midrange with 3x emperor, black all removal control with 3x virtue of persistence, temur analyst, etc. Most games I actually get out-valued by greedier decks that play a slightly longer game.

The first game is a nice example of why keywords like vigilance are so important. Apply pressure while having your defenses up causes the opponent to really extend themselves

I identify as a Golgari-midrange-value player. This deck is perfection incarnate, as far as I am concerned. Can confirm it is good enough to grind up the ladder. THANK YOU for a deck that is some of the most fun I've had playing for a while now.

Love golgari in arena. If my stuff doesn’t get exiled I just top deck recursion over and over until they’re sick of it. Also liked watching Amazonian play The NecroBloom in Brawl. Might switch to Abzan.

One unexpected bonus of my slightly edited version of the deck -- monored ceases to exist. The matchmaker apparently is scared that my deck might be too good for monored so I haven't seen it at all in about 20 games.

Kept running into artifact decks (Synthesizer and Legion) with my Golgari deck every day, so I put in 3x Tear Asunder. They almost disappeared afterwards (ranked). How convenient.

CGB I feel your but I'm from Portugal I can't give you any more. I'm so sad about this, I feel like country is like the mono-red to the bountiful lives true MTG can bring. Why do I uderstand this yet I was born here.. The only true thing is the following: keep making videos with cool Standard decks forever. Let's rid mono-red from the face of the Earth. If I don't see some some rationality in my life I better as well go bonkers insane. It's ON YOU, CGB (sorry, it's a great responsibility, but I know you feel it, so many 80s feel like ads - I love it. Cheers)

Game 1 was insane on the land draw.

I did not have enough wildcards to craft all 4 of broncos and dreadknights, so I run only 2 of each. In the rest of 2 drop slots I maindecked 4x Over the Edge. Just to have at least a chance against artifacts.

Wow I’m been playing a lot of golgari these last two season and that’s an extremely low curve. My heart is screaming for a sorin or at least one big bat, maybe a nissa. Honestly so excited to see this in action and see if it pays off.

I'm surprised anyone plays with anything other than mute for music and emotes. I'm always watching something else or listening to music. I could care less about the emotes, disabled them in the first week of playing. Especially when I realized I wasn't reading anything anyone was "saying" anyways.

This midrange deck is an aggro deck that replaced the 1-drops with removal spells. Edit: 25:59 "A Saddled Bronco could kill them." No it couldn't, you cut all the 4-drops out of the deck.

All mana tapped and the opponent could have removed Bronco at any point of the time, but no, had to wait until the saddle trigger being made, looking at the cards he have in hand, stare at it for a while, and remove it at the last point, why? Style points? Fucking stupid game and players.

caustic bronco feels meh to me. It's not always easy to attack more than once, and also losing life is tough in current bo1 unless you have plenty of life gain.

If you're playing fight spells with Glissa and Phyrexian Oblit I'm gonna riot. But you also make me laugh for playing mean things like this so why aren't you playing them?

Standard has just become a game of removal.....for removal.....of removal....it's one of the more boring formats as of late.

I get vacation mode means less content but at it is pretty lame to do the bare minimum at any time for a professional.
