I just got home from the range after seeing a previous video of yours about swinging low and left. I was truly amazed at how crisp the contact was and absolutely loved the flight of the ball. It doesn’t only work for irons and wedges either!!!

Hey just got into this video and Joel's Swing seems to be more helpful as he has the same sort of lean tall physique as myself. What he does is more vertical high hands inside swing using his L shoulder down than Christo who swings so flat and I did for last couple of years. So far initial practice swings remind myself of my old almost lost much more vertical swings with lots of leverage. Tried it out on irons out to 3 iron, long hybrid and even Driver and early feels are much better than have felt for quite a while!!!

Hey Christo, this vid more than the dozens I have seen on OTT has shown me some details of the early BSwing that have eluded me. I can see in detail the arm/hand motion of ur friend Joel as he gets way inside, particularly the RH cocking (I call flapping) along his torso to get to his R pocket. This makes it more repeatable and also good starting point to then take it up since the first part is finished properly. The DS is not my problem its getting to the top deep inside and hands high.

Wow, I added lead tape about 2 weeks ago and it's been working out great. I can really feel the club set at the top of my swing and effortless drop in the slot. It dont look pretty on my irons but its working

I added a third strip yesterday and started absolutely striping the ball. I found I had a hard time hitting a draw or hook because it felt like the face couldn't shut early! I'm going out for more lead tape today for all of my irons.

Christo, really enjoyed seeing Joel get a kick out of his OTT. Is he doing this with his hybrids/fairways/driver, too? Would like to see your friend do some of that. Thanks for sharing others giving it a go.

I'm intrigued. I've been trying to learn an 'inside/out' swing for years, with varying success. I watch this video, and I'm so confused. I'm thinking that since the divot is pointing left, a square face at impact would cause a slice wouldn't it? how do you release through impact? is this for every club in the bag?

Some shot Data is needed to prove/ show just how effective this method is to the average guy. Face to path/attack angle and spin axis are something more golfers need to understand. That would make this channel much more worthwhile. Also maybe sharing your numbers with the Hogan wannabe swing vs the Over the Top Miracle. The numbers would really make a statement. Also have you had to bend your irons more upright to accommodate such a move? Things like this would be good to know

Many of the old touring pros made the clubheads heavier then back weighted to get the swing weight down. Many touring pros got the swing weight to E-5 on their driver then back weighted the club down to D-5.

The manufacturers decided to make the clubs less heavy. They came out with Uktralight clubs. Ram & MacGregor leading the way. D.A. Weibring played Ultralight clubs on Tour for a year or two, but the fad didn't last long. But iron swingweights became lower. Many down to C-9.

Ive had a theory for a while that says to add weight to a club. Basic Jr. High math says mass times velocity sq is the amount of force you can put on a ball. The ball and club being constants mean the only thing that matters is velocity. I watch Berkshire, Borgmire and Bryson do these crazy swing speed videos filled with screams and grunts and i come to the conclusion that no one can play golf like that. So instead of trying to get to 140mph swing speed. My theory is each person probably has an optimal swing speed. Current clubs though are so light Im guessing that you can add quite a bit of weight and still reach that same swing speed.

I love this stuff. But, sorry always a but isn't there? I have witnessed hundreds, maybe thousands of brilliant practice ground golfers, but when push comes to shove, when you cant get yer hands on the club coz yer so nervous, compression wrist angles etc dont count for diddly squat

You missed the finest ever over the top miracle Major winner THE WALRUS Even Fred Couples and Paul Azinger don't come close by a mile. And what about Tom Kite, Ben Crenshaw, Hale Irwin, Tom Weiskopf, Tom Watson, Johny Miller or Hubert Green Remember Hogan on putting: he could be a long distance class putter, however what worked seemed to look peculiar in the eye of amateur friend. So did not want to make golf look ridiculous to the audience from a PR perspective and unlike Sam Snead, sacrificed perfection in putting with conventional orthodox looking putting style. Real over the top is if one also throws the right elbow angle, like scoping the ball up by falling onto the backfoot during the downswing. The loss of lag, like Homer Kelley, golfing machine. If you increase lag to the club head blade tip, over the top is an attribute, yet if it contributes to loss of lag, one is push-throwing instead of swinging of pull-hitting into a ball compression extending position, owing to the over the top lag creation that loads as an inside-out slot or lock. As Hogan said, once in that inside-out down swing plane, no right arm or hand is able to have the strength enabling to hit or throw too hard, forcing it into an outside-in push-throw motion.

A slight inside natural move to the top, let the club drop naturally down and turn through. Not rocket science...
