Vriend van mij heeft ook een Gechipte Golf GTE. Op de Duitse autobahn drukte ik boven de 160 een BMW M3 E46 aan de kant. Hij ging ook vol. Die gast wist niet wat die meemaakte. En een goede wegligging jo. Ongelofelijk. Wegligging is Strak, stabiel maar ook erg comfortabel zelfs op hoge drempels kun je jagen. En ook erg stil zelfs boven 245kmh... Echt gemaakt als Duitse Autobahn Vreter.

Mooi, vraagje; hoe kan het dat bij mijn gte de actie radius na een 3,5 durende laadbeurt van 45km naar 18km gaat na een rit van 10km? ( E-mode)

Hi there! Love your videos. Wondered if you could help, we have our golf gte (same model as yours) on the dyno but it won't go over 100mph, it's on a front wheel drive dyno. Have you any experience with your gte on a dyno? It doesn't want to stay in fifth gear.

Hi, very nice!! Did you make stage 1 also the DSG? Because this is torque limited at 400NM! Why some tuners only tell stage 1 is 225 like the 1.4tsi from 150 to 170hp? Are you thinking for a stage 3? It would be amazing as you have the electric motor for everyday and low rpm till the turbo spool up, etuners made from this 1.4 270hp with the turbo of golf R so with the electric motor it will go 320hp!! Did you have any problems with the car? Also a lighter battery (for example 20kg instead of 120kg) would be ideal for street racing haha.

@@ot2nie I believed exactly this but i could not find proof that it is limited at GTE mode. Do you think that after 160km/h the electric motor or the battery may overheat with full power? Who is your tuner?

@@scorpionscorpionn Από όσο ξέρω δεν τον πειράζει κανένας. Δεν έχει πρόγραμμα ακόμη, περιμένω μήπως γίνει κανένα θαύμα...γενικά πολύ ευχαριστημένος απλά να ξέρεις ότι πρέπει να έχεις κάπου να το φορτίζεις αλλιώς δεν θα το αξιοποιείς σωστά και θα έχει μεγαλύτερη κατανάλωση από ένα απλό 1.4

Mooie resultaten! Is het verbruik ook veranderd na de tune? En de actieradius op alleen elektrisch rijden?

M. Bedankt! Nee in principe niet, alleen GTE mode is veranderd, de andere modes zijn 100% hetzelfde gebleven. Het verbruik is wel anders als je altijd volgas rijdt en dat nu nog steeds doet😝 Als je normaal en rustig rijdt, is de auto zelfs zuiniger omdat je relatief meer elektro gebruikt in GTE mode!

Is dit zeker weten zo? Dat alleen GTE aangepast wordt? Volgens mij is ook in hybride mode de auto sneller. Ik dacht dat met de kick down de hybride hetzelfde aan pk produceert, alleen GTE is over de hele range gretiger

That’s normal yes.

hoi, mooie resultaten. bij welke tuner heb je dit uit laten voeren? Ik ben zelf in de markt voor een GTE maar ik vroeg mij af of je in de GTE modus ook energie opwekt zodat je in principe altijd het volle vermogen hebt. Heb overal gecheckt maar kan niks terug vinden. Ze zijn momenteel erg voordelig!

4 weken geleden een GTE gekocht particulier. Ze zijn nu inderdaad erg voordelig. Absoluut een aanrader die GTE, rijdt zo gemakkelijk. En als je elke dag kan opladen kan je GTE ook regelmatig aan laten staan! De GTE modus laad niet op, wel kan je met remmen de aardige kilometers terugwinnen.

Broeder, waar heb jij je start stop laten uit zetten?

Is the stop & start off when you deaccelerating? I hate that the car goes in to electric mode when you are driving downhill or you release the throttle even when the car is in GTE mode...

What tyres are you using? I have a Edition 30 mk5 stage 1 300hp & 380nm, managed 5,7 0-100kmh on Michelin ps4 225/40/18 with no wheelspin in 2nd gear. Good tyres are very important

Good tires are very important that’s right! My best 0-100 kmh as of yet is 6.00 sec on the dragy😅 I’m using Pirelli Pzero 225/35 R19.

@@ot2nie Are the pzeros quite new? I found my tyre loosing it's grip on the 3rd year and now on the 4th year they are very far off from the first two years....

Yes just software, it has cost me €500. You must use E5 fuel RON98. You can add methanol, but i would only do that after an upgrade turbo 😊

Echt een interessante video. Dit laat de potentie van de gte goed zien. Welke topsnelheid verwacht je? Ik ben erg benieuwd.

The Dutchman, bedankt voor je reactie. Het klopt inderdaad, tot een kleine 300pk zijn er, afhankelijk van je rijstijl, weinig problemen te verwachten. Mooie resultaten, veel rijplezier!

The Dutchman dus in theorie als je er een grootere “sterkere” turbo op zet zal die die 340pk halen? Is bij een GTE ook POPS & BANG mogelijk? aangezien het een klein 1.4tje is?

Kerel, bij een videotje van jou heb je het over Dogbone. Wat is dat ..?? En ik heb mijn GTE gechipt en wil de reactie tijd van gaspedaal verbeteren en wordt geadviseerd de K&N filter te gebruiken daarvoor . Is dat zo?

Die dogbone verhelpt speling in een van de motorsteunrubbers, wat zorgt voor strakker schakelen en minder wielhop. Reactietijd verbeteren kan je het beste doen met Obdeleven, maar daar komt nog een video van! KN filter ga je niks van merken, wellicht een beetje geluid maar that’s it!

Oke super!! Nu nog een vraag. Voor dat ik hem liet chippen hoorde ik ook al heel lichtjes gerammel wanneer die stationair loopt en wanneer ik kleinbeetje gas geef een paar x gaat het weer weg. Is dat iets bekends bij deze model? En nog iets met versnelling. Pas wanneer ik zelf schakel voel ik een dreun als ik schakel is dit die Dogbone verhaal? Gelukkig is het bij normaal schakelen niet eens voelbaar maar alleen bij flipperen

@@ot2nie ik heb trouwens gevraagd. Hij heeft geen OBD11 maar wel Carly Hoe heet die optie bij OBD? Misschien dat Carly die ook.heeft

Is it possible for you to ask the company who did this to your golf if they can remap my etron? Im from Portugal but I can send the original file and they unlock full electric power has they did to yours. Could you help me on that? Best regards

@@ot2nie I ve remaped my car with a map from This company mychiptuningfiles.com/en/chiptuning-files/audi/audi-a3/e-tron-204hp But i dont feel that diference...may be because they didn t unlock the electric engine. I ve remaped with This map cause i thought it was the same as yours duo de Numbers they mention...unfortunaly i dont feel that much power so i Will try to contact the company that did yours. Thanks you dutchman.

@@ot2nie my mistake.sorry. I tried the car with 2 levels of battery. With full battery i feel a much difference. I dont know if they tuned the e motor but the true os that i went to dyno with full battery e 95 gasoline and its measures 321hp and 483 torque. With less 2 levels of battery full it measures 311 HP. I was amazed with those Numbers. The true is that know with no battery i have the same HP than with both engines before and with full battery i have more than 310 HP. Many thanks dutchman

@@ot2nie i dont know that. The ONLY think i know is that on dyno did 2 tests. 1st full battery measured 321 HP 2nd with less 2 levels of battery measured 311hp and 483 nm torque. With 95 gasoline. Dont ask me why ir how but its did. The guys of the link i ve showed did the map. They promised 280 HP and 480 nm. Strange but it measured way more HP.😅

@@CATA20034 i ve remaped mine already... But not with this... Sent to tunning files.com sent the original map and they sent me back...on the bench measured 321 hp Ehrn they promised 285 so not bad at all... torque measured 489

Angel Works stock car is restricted to about 230 and mine is still restricted like that, i don’t really need the top speed. A friend of mine has a tuned GTE with top speed limit removed and reached about 260, so it can be done!

@@mc_mods6105 ja zeker waard, betrouwbare en leuke dagelijkse auto! Weinig om rekening mee te houden, behalve het HV accupakket (terugroepacties en 8 jaar garantie tot 160.000 km).

The Dutchman Oke, ik heb zelf ook een GTE met een tuningsbox van Essing. Ik ben benieuwd hoeveel sneller jouw GTE is. Wellicht laat ik ‘m dan ook tunen in Huizen. Heb je nog meer filmpjes? 80-120 etc.? Mag evt. via app

With this tune it is restricted to 230 km/h on the speedo. Derestricted i’ve heard people do about 260 on the speedo (long stretch!)

Just go to manual and when yoy drive off, immediately go to 2nd. You cannot leave in 2nd though..

Pity there isn't a limited slip diff for FWD cars.

Stop complaining, the GTE’s engine is build to be able to perform with pretty much cold oil, i know this sounds stupid, but with the start/stop system turning the engine off at pretty much every possibility and there being 0 engine failures reported, we can conclude the engine can handle it👍🏻 Turbo’s a different story, but GTE turbo’s are cheap AF lol and i want to upgrade mine anyway!
