GOLF AND THE GRAIL BOOK OF LONG DRIVES-STOP THINKING AND START FEELING YOUR golf SWING!

Спорт

AFTER THE INTRODUCTION TO OUR NEW BOOK, THE GOLF AND THE GRAIL, We talk about the 3 main aspects of long drive techniques that have transferred to the PGA TOUR from the longest drivers of the golf ball on the planet on the World Long Drive Tour such as Kyle Berkshire. This is a huge show!! You will see how Munashe Masawi (MU for short) achieves 128 MPH club speed with the driver after only 3 years and hitting up to 375 yards with it as well as Savannah Meyer-Clement (Savy for short) has now achieved 106.4 MPH for her 122 LBS frame and is mow hitting over 285 yards consistently!! Yours truly holds steady at 115 MPH club speed with drives at 315 yards average at 55 years of age.

This book is not yet another manual on how to play golf. Its author is neither a player nor a professional teacher. This is the pupils' book. It is the first of its kind, which makes it unique. It gives an account of the apprentice golfer's quest for perfection, authenticity, and beauty and the long, hard road that must be traveled to achieve this. The journey of initiation necessarily precedes initiation to the golf course.
In doing so, this book brings to light philosophy in the literal sense of the word: the love of wisdom. as described by Shawn Clement, the founding father of Wisdom in Golf, and transmitted throughout Europe by Édouard Montaz, his brilliant disciple.
Édouard and Virgile. Master and pupil. The pupil who learns from the master, who in turn learns from the pupil. This virtuous exchange opens up the path to inspired golf. And overturns the normal order of things. Indeed, it brings with it a revelation that sheds new light on the Arthurian legend and the quest for the Grail.

I had the opportunity to have a private 3-hour lesson which was incredible. No ache or pain during the lesson or driving back home. I’m mid single handicap golfer who has been playing for more than 3 decades and he corrected the snap hook in a lesson while getting me to fade the ball. SHAWN YOU ARE THE BEST! 🏆🥇

You guys are becoming a truly formidable trio! Tons of gold within this VLOG, Sean. Sav’s is starting to bring some serious heat with her new speed gains! Mu has freakish level speed that will have him over 130mph in no time... I noticed his foot placement at setup which is a huge unclock in terms of having the lead foot relatively square and the trail foot somewhat flared... It really helps to facilitate an unrestricted fully loaded backswing that allows the body to unwind and give it the full business through impact. If Mu offers any virtual strength training programs, sign me up! I am looking to hit 125mph myself by Spring 2021 (currently at 120mph)!

H-U-G-E "Ah Ha!" moments watching this video. I have "maxed out" my driver at 93 mph. Then I got the Swing Caddy. I identified that I was losing club speed at the bottom of the swing. I was "sweeping" instead of snapping. But why? 2 things: Even though my thought was "through the tip of the tee" as I started the swing, at the very end of my backswing, my thought changed to "Hit the ball in the middle of the face." Not only was that a "ball focused" thought, it caused my head to move forward, again, to "hit the ball". Furthermore, those thoughts and actions forced me to increase effort, which was no fun for my back! I was amazing how much my speed AND accuracy improved. Well done. PS: what is the corresponding lesson on Premium?

Oh man! I just had an aha moment. I have one golf hole that I consistently smash my drive on. It’s a dogleg left around a pond and I cut the corner and carry the water. From watching this video, I realized that I just step on that hole, full of confidence and rip the ball across the water. As you say “I hit the ball to the picture”. On other drives, I’m so self conscious of not wanting to hit the ball right or left I don’t swing the club, don’t use the ground, not releasing to the spot!!!

Things have changed quite a lot in the last 3 years in equipment and I have noticed this as I fit clubs to my students; Phil Mickelson has seen and felt those changes as well and plays several clubs in his bag with super irons called the epic forged from Callaway. Ping has something similar in the G-710 and Taylor made has the P-790. We had a nice run with Ping and they are a great company but the fit with Callaway for our team was simply better and this happens all the time in this industry. I always come back to say that you must try the clubs before you buy and then get the fit according to that. We live by those same rules! 😀👍

Distance at times can be equal or better than accuracy. Would you rather hit a 9i from the rough or a 6i from the fw? Distance can be the new King in golf.

Question regarding the backswing - do we focus on the mechanics (ie: in the backswing - is there a conscious effort to 'come up')? When I focus on these - i tend to become too mechanical and lose the "just swing the club" feel.

I'm kind of curious. Are aware that your videos are being used to teach disc golf? The swing looks totally different, but is essentially the same. I was held back by poor instruction until this was pointed out to me.
