Captain here, the statue puzzle does precisely as it says on the tin, opening a path to Venus lighthouse. The lights indicating which path is open, meaning that once you've gone down one path, take the leftmost stairs in the antechamber, bypass the defenses and set the path anew. Treasure awaits.

The lucky cap is better for Ivan considering most of Garet's ultimate gear are coming up. This is the other classes for the party members some people have commented about. As long as you don't use the Djinn, the crew will be fine, otherwise, it will drop stats severely. I leave the choice up to you. Issac: 4 mercury + 3 Mars = Dragoon class Garet: 4 Venus + 3 Jupiter = Samurai class Ivan: 3 Mercury + 4 Mars = Ranger class Mia: 3 Venus + 4 Jupiter = White Mage class

You may have to come back to reactivate this statue because it controls whether which of the multiple paths you will take. Only bother with this if you want to collect more items from the dungeon though. Crossbone Isle! *He* is waiting for you! Now it's time to dance a pirate's jig, because I can!!! You must plunder all the booty!

are you going back to crossbone isle cave, and finishing that, or will you continuing through the lighthouse?

The puzzles would be fine, but I wonder if he can tackle Deadbeard yet...he doesn't play around. Might be better to get more artifacts like the Gaia Blade and such before finishing Crossbone. Of course, he fought Saturos at level 10 and did fine, so maybe I'm being overly careful here.

Mathieu Couture is deadbeard the last boss in the cave? Also I say he might as well finish the cave. How many more rooms are there anyway?

Kevin Yannutz If I recall correctly, there are 8 rooms, he was at the seventh. Then you have the 9th which is Deadbeard's shipyard. The problem here is that this boss is tougher than the final boss at Venus Lighthouse, and he's not even there yet so... I would recommend level 30-35 and upgrading gear as best he can. I remember him having a LOT of life and hitting kinda hard.
