The fact that this became accessible on Switch less than 2 weeks before Persona 3 reload on competing game consoles is all you need to know regarding Nintendo's confidence in this IP. This series must be revitalized

I know most people dont love Dark Dawn, but i would also love to see a Dark Dawn video as well :) this series needs more love

It’s because Dark Dawn is bad.

This game has the best mechanics and top tier animation for skills. I hope they can make a remake of this game.

The Cursed Warrior build. With some Dark Matter equipment, it's a rather fun way to make the best of Garet's otherwise rather lackluster options.

It's the same deal as Torneko in DQ4. The fact he doesn't have a niche IS his niche. You can afford to mess with his options and use questionable tactics on him, because it'll be better than what he has at base.

Sheba’s the optimal copy of Ivan, not the other way around. Ivan was my best character I used throughout both game. Sadly, it’ll have been nice to have him in Dark Dawn, but his daughter makes a good replacement for him. Wish they can release DS games. Dark Dawn was the only series I have not finished playing bc my DS happened to break at that time so never beat the game. It was a great game.

Man I love these games. Awesome job

If they ever make a new game(not gonna hold my breath) it would be cool if when someone equips a Djinn it changes their outfits to fit the job class

As someone who mostly plays single player games without the statistical knowledge or research, this is incredibly fun to explore after the fact. My next playthrough I'll definitely want to do an optimal run.

This is a cool video. I always saw Felix as being the canonical user of sol blade and Isaac for Excalibur

hated dark dawn with a passion, as far as im concerned, Golden Sun is a duology, not a trilogy. I'd love to forget that dark dawn even exists

Growing up I always kept my djinn mono elemental matching the adepts type, very boring but effective enough

For some reason, i always get loss in the djinn combinations, idk how or what djinn and character can make a perfect match, example if you fuse a earth djinn with fire djinn in isaac, he loss a lot of stats but increases a few, but now, you got new spells like grass attacks :b

Every time I tried to play with some of the fancy mix and match classes, they always felt like they struggled to be as good as just mono-element.

Garrett is my curse boy, toss all the powerful curse items on him (with anticurse ring) and let him be a slow tank

The moment you mentioned Garet i knew it was for his speed 😂 dude is so slow I put nearly all speed boosting stat stuff on him to even keep up with everyone else 🤣

Have you ever actually tried a cursed Ronin build for Garet....? No way in 108 hells he's worse than Piers/Ivan/Sheba.

Nintendo needs to add these to NSO already

About that due to the Dijinni class type system most party members besides Pier's in Lost age are worth using Pier's is kind of pure CRAP no matter what job class he is in.

Why do you only attack instead of using more psynergy or djinns?

It makes sense for Felix to be the best overall as he is the main character

I know you didn't do this specifically for me. I just choose to believe it anyway.

I am surprised about your tier list. When TLA have been release, Piers was one of my 4 main party members. And after watching your video i've checked on gamefaqs the stats of characters. Piers have the 3rd or 4th place for every stats, he only lack of speed, that is, i think, pretty useful because he mostly heals after the party getting hit by ennemies. Also, having mostly One target attacks make him usefull because nearly every boss and strongs ennemies are alone. I had never use jenna, and again, i saw the stats and she have bad ones (garet have better stats except SP and speed)

I feel almost ashamed This game is like what 20y now? I NEVER optimized over bulking my adept with their djinns of same element. Hell I prob due to this list wanna replay it for my 5th time. Incredible list. And poor Garth and Piers. It sucks being made a tank and just suck at that to as Isaac and feelix just are soooo much better at that role.

Ok here’s my theory. If it’s on Nintendo Online then it won’t be remade. That’s why none of the Megaman battle network games showed up.
