trust me it's not complicated at all the problem is that people try to use Ai the same way they use Ps, and that's just entering a world of pain they're 2 entirely different programs with some similarities - use the similarities as a kickstart, not as a base to learn how to use the program

So, Jhonny sins even became a designer as well.

If you place a ruler on the bottom edge of the circles, the "new" circle that you copy and enlarge will always snap to that rule and enlarge smoothly without breaking the symmetry. It helps with random jagged "noise" bits that can appear if the "magic snap" was not perfectly accurate.

Great Tutorial, but I like to know how can I design a totally new logo using this golden ratio from scratch, do i have to sketch first...

you can also create a circle, times it by 1.168 in the tranform width and height panel (*1.168) then cmd+d to paste - super fast

A shame it's not actually the Golden Ratio :-(

Great tutorial. It've seen some golden ratio video tutorial and I find yours really well explained. 2:34 In my case I must disable "snap-to-pixel" to align the square and the circle to ther others. When I extend it with shif it increase by 0,5 instead by 1. It's awkward. I thought it was because the "Y axis" was 400,5pt while the "X axis" was 400pt. But it's not that. Did it happen to someone too ? I don't know what to do to make it work with the "snap-to-pixel" option.
