Great review, thank you so much. I'm on GH overload at the moment and CANNOT decide which one to go with. This was SO detailed and highlighted almost all of my questions. How do you like them so far? Any preference?

Thanks so much for the feedback! I definitely had a lot of questions myself before I got them! I like a slightly stiffer boot, so the Diamond is probably my preference. It's hard to compare them since the plates are so different though! Those vanguard plates are amazing! Unfortunately I'll be selling both pairs, since they're a bit too small for my feet after skating on them a few times :(

@@shainanacion6106 Hi, Thanks for your video! It's super informative. I have wide feet and find alot of skates just aren't wide enough so I have custom Vans. I heard these GH skates can be wide if customized but now I'm wondering if they are wide enough if you are having problems. Do you mind me asking how wide your feet are? 🙃

I really would like to know how you got them for that price? With that plate all the GH skates I see are over $600. Care to share where you purchased them from?

Thank you! I used Angelus suede dye in burgundy. It was a little tough to find someone who would ship it here to Hawaii, but I finally got it from Etsy.

Hi, thank you for a very good review! Any idea of the weight? And are the van guard plates heavier than the fiber compound plates?

I asked Appelusa and she said the vanguard plates are definitely heavier than the compound plates.

I got the diamonds with the plastic plates and after a while if they aren’t responsive enough I’ll have my local rink switch out the plates for atom pilot falcon. I am wanting to learn freestyle artistic skating like you do and wanted a better boot than the impalas I have. I have my heart set on it and I’ve loved rollerskating for a while and I got a skate I could use just for strolling and to learn some transitions and tricks.

Thank you for review cause I am exactly as you: I hesitate between two. I would like diamond with vanguard frame but a question for you. You have taken diamond with vanguard… why did you not take the noble model or maven ? Ankle support is to stiff ? Thx

Yes, the ankle support was way too stiff on the Noble. I considered the Maven, but they were so similar that I decided to go with the Diamond since it was less expensive.

Great question! They're both good skates, but I prefer the street magic. The memory foam padding makes them more comfortable and the Moxi Panthers unfortunately come with plates that sit low to the ground so you can't use 65mm wheels with them.
