I had to endure breaking in skates growing up, I don’t need or want to do it again 😆

I’d say this is pretty amazing 🤩 sorry you weren’t able to break in your other pair. How do your feet feel with the valour material ? Does it get very hot ? Those toe stoppers looks pretty durable. And yes taking pictures for sizing was very overwhelming but the instructions were pretty clear to follow.

I love the material. Let’s circle back after spending time in them in humid Hawaii over the summer 😆🌺🤙🏻 but I wore them in LA in the summer and they were fine

My skates were confiscated by the mold police after a hurricane in Florida in 2004. Skating rink was closed for a number of years also. I finally got another pair four years ago and then the pandemic hit. Still skating

Oh wow. I had a run in with the mold police and my family rink closed! I can relate on a different level, nothing compared to the devastation of a hurricane though. We skate where we can, don’t we!

Great videos! Did you get to try the street diamond? Is the diamond a shorter boot? How are your current GH skates holding up? Which GH model plate would you recommend for beginners?

Hi sorry for delay! I did try diamond, yes a little shorter- I do have a video comparison coming. I would also look into their new dance boot. It’s like my Classica from Edea which I love. Lower cut. I love the vanguard plate so it’s holding up perfect. The compound frames are never my favorite. I need edge control. But for a beginner they are totally fine just realize you will want to upgrade at some point!

Do you happen to know the width of the D width for a wider fit? I can’t seem to find it anywhere on the GH website 😅

Hi!! The skates gold en horse can be for figure skating professional?

Hi Jorge! The Street Cloud is too soft a boot for figure skating. It’s not supportive enough. They were made for “dance skaters” to dance on the skates- not necessarily jump and spin. The plate is fine for a beginner skater to learn half jumps and one foot spins but I would upgrade to the Vanguard in all honesty if figure skating was an intention. The plate is really important for edge control and spins.
