Rose was considered funny because no one could understand what she was saying. For hilarious you should either check out Dorothy or Sylvia's best moments. Sylvia had me rolling most days

I don’t care what age someone is... The Golden Girls is an unbeatable sitcom.

She really played the airheaded blond so well! Which as an adult now and knowing about all of her accomplishments throughout her life, expecially during a time that had never recognized wemon for some of the awards that she received. She was definitely a comedian of the rarest wonderful sort. And a driving force for wemon then and ever since! Also she was a very shrewd businesswomen. I watched all of the episodes with my Grandma. She will be soooo missed! On the lighter side now "Betty knows the secret"!

Watched The Golden Girls when it came out in the 80's, and still watch the reruns on the Hallmark channel everynight.

I am currently going on a binge watch of reactions to The Golden Girls in honour of the now deceased Betty White.

It can’t be a best of rose without the episode when that little girl wouldn’t give her back her teddy bear. That was the best! I love when rose’s “mean” side comes out lol

As much as I love Betty White as Rose, I loved her even more as Sue Ann Nivens on "The Mary Tyler Moore Show". I'm going to have to see if there's a compilation of her in that role.💙

My favourite of Rose's were always her "Back in St. Olaf ..." stories. The reaction of the other cast members always made them even funnier. 😂🤣😂 Betty White was just as funny in Hot in Cleveland too. She has that sweet innocent face that can deliver the craziest lines.

I did have a sweet spot for Sophia's stories from Sicily that sound like novel ideas At the same time, it sounded like a ruckus injected with Italian stereotypes

I loved Betty White in Golden Girls but adored her in The Mary Tyler Moore show! Betty & Ed’s banter was killer good!!

Jamel... I was actually drawn to this immortal classic show by my mother, who would always be in tears from laughing so much 🤣🤣🤣. Some of the greatest moments of my life were spent with my mother watching this show because we’d always have our own “water fountain chat” about it afterwards. Sadly, she’s no longer with me but this show ALWAYS makes me think of her. Thanks so much for the “Betty Bonanza” mate 🇦🇺✊️😉👍🇦🇺

I love this show, and Rose was my favorite character - just so sweet and gentle-hearted. I will always remember watching it with my grandparents when I was little. ❤

Agreed, their faces say so much because they know what’s coming. You gotta love Rose. And you’re so right, I liked the show when it came out but now that I’m much older, I can relate so much more!

An absolute favorite time was to have a couple friends over, get stoned, then watch a Golden Girls marathon. That was always a work out of the stomach muscles about the same as a couple hours in the gym! lol

To know that Rue almost played Rose and Betty almost played Blanche then they switched at the last minute, it was such a good decision. But I wonder how different Golden Girls would've been if they didn't switch.

Remember Betty played Sue Ann Nivens in The Mary Tyler Moore Show, and she was very funny as the overbearing, frisky friend. But I'm so glad she was chosen to play Rose Nyland in the end.

Bea might not have done it. She didn’t want to be in a show that was Maude meets Sue Ann and Vivian (from Maude). The switch got her interested

You have to know the show and the characters to really appreciate this . Someone just watching this best of vid randomly wont find it nearly as amusing as a fan would.

Until just recently Betty White was the last cast number of the golden girls and also the last cast number of the Mary Tyler Moore show. just passed away at age of nine ninety years old.

I'm back watching more of your reaction to specially Betty White. I loved watching the Golden Girls, but I didn't always get her stories she told. Matter of fact, you Jamal locked kind of lost at some of her sayings. Your not the only one. Many times I didn't know what she was talking about. But Betty White is one heck of a comic. She could make me laugh, even when I didn't get her stories she told. She is still alive and still funny. But Bea was also hilarious. So was Sophia, with her dry sense of humor. And then there was Blanche. She played the role as sex symbol perfectly. I still watch all the reruns. The Golden Girls sure was such a darling show. Sad that they are all dead, except for Betty White. Let it rip Betty, your still a funny lady.
