He's the first person from the West who is truly respectful and authentic towards Asian culture. Unlike most Western food critics, he presents Asian culture in a positive, exciting and vibrant way. He's definitely, a breath of fresh air and thats why most Asians embrace and support him.

I just like the way he's so fascinated w/ the sea culture. I wanted him to be that too. But my creepin self looked up his origin & turns out, I guess he's not. He does seem like a nervous laughter, more of a could u not crowd my space reserved type. But he seems so nonoutbursty, he does seem pleasant. It's just he is a host of a channel so y wouldn't he behave more calmly. I always thought low key he's prob way psycho he just hides it well :/. But his wifey & son sea tho.& I remember watching food channels so much there was this fitness gym head I'd always came across. No matter what channel I was on. Wonder what happened to her. Oh, & his arrogant "bro." Anywho their son is cute. It's been cool watching him grow. Although I haven't kept up as much as I did, I only catch glimpses of the kiddo from time to time. Kids seen way more of the world than I have tho., that's for sure

I recall being at a crab boil and seeing one of the guest attempt to discard the roe...I had to stop her and say, "girl, that's like the caviar and mayonnaise all rolled onto one" the orange stuff is the best and it's so awesome to open up a crab and see it in abundance.

I love Mark Wiens! So positive and living life to the fullest!

This sticky pudding dessert looks scrumptious with the layer of coconut cream ....yum!!

Thailand is very nice seafood, fresh vegetables and fruits and the people is very kind and friendly ❤️❤️❤️

Mark is one of my favorites. He can have a show on the travel channel or something. His videos are fun, informative, and make you want to travel to wherever he is. And I love when he says wow that's when you know its delicious.

Mark, I love you and your family, but I liked this video specifically because of the chefs and the brilliant attitude all of them have, especially the main one. You should definitely go back because they are amazing and I want to see more of the food and genuine kindness.

After this pandemic, i'll surely go back to Thailand and try all these!!! I miss Thailand!

As a Korean, that raw crab dish with the bright orange yolk made my mouth water...frankly I didn't know countries other than Korea ate raw crab. I think I'm gonna end up dreaming about it tonight. If you are a typical American who's never even imagined eating raw crab...well, I feel sorry for you, you are missing out on one of the TOP culinary dishes in the world. And just having a whole-fish dish makes you wince and go, "Oh my god! It's looking at me!!!" It's time you went beyond just meat and potatoes.

Mark...this Video makes me feel so stupid. I moved all the way to Germany and now I’m watching you eat delicious food from my country. (I’m originally from Chiang Mai but my dad is from Koh Samui). I feel so stupid leaving my home and taking it for granted 😅 I miss Thailand so much. With this stupid corona, it’s so hard to go back for visit as well, even when I’m Thai. I can totally understand. I live also in Germany (born here but roots from Korea). been traveling around SEA a lot. My biggest dream would to leave Germany and live in SEA or Korea. German food is just not enjoyable. Good thing I cook well - otherwise it would be unbearable to be here...so I feel you guys!!!!!!!

Mark is awesome....HE IS FLUENT IN THAI LANGUAGE. He speaks it and he can READ the ALIEN LIKE ALPHABET as well.

Loved this video; especially with how Mark did his drone shots. Some of his best cinematography I have seen so far from him. The last shot at the end of the cape was unbelievable with how you could not tell where the sand ended and the water began. Amazing work, Mark!

I always admire the way Mark is able to capture the food! It makes you want to visit just for the food!

I enjoy videos of Thailand more then other destinations Mark has traveled, I believe it brings back memories for people who have traveled and loved Thailand.

I've been watching crabs feinding (?) Idk how to spell that, for soft shell. My bdays tommorow. Might bug the hubby to take me to a restaurant to find some. But I'll prob settle for thai/ lao. Bc that soft shell is prob gonna be more pricey than what it's not even worth. 💡 which reminds me, should start Google searching for sea food markets. But so that's y this was in my feed. I imagine their seafood to be on steroids. I'm sure it's yummy. But all that water makes me have an irrational fear... of a tsunami
