Erick Santos yea but when you grow up rich and everything is handed to you, plus your dad is the man and a legend, some saying the greatest of all time, the pressure is on Jr. more. He has to be perfect to be maybe be respected near the same level of his dad. It doesn’t matter though, Jr. still became a pro boxer and has had a pretty good career, and has made millions of dollars boxing while still doing what he wants when he wants...better life than almost everyone commenting or reading these comments.

JC Chavez senior once mentioned in an interview that he always opposed the idea of his children being boxers, he even said he tried very hard to discourage them to abandon the idea of being professional fighters when they were younger. In my opinion his two sons Julio and Omar have been after fame and money only, but they haven't been able to stick to the discipline and hard work boxing demands specially Julio who I believe has the natural skills for the sport but he lacks the enthusiasm and hunger for it.

If Chavez Jr. had different name,he'd might have been a much better fighter if he didn't have a name to try and live up to.I remember him as a little kid riding someones's shoulder into the ring every time his dad fought all those big fights back in the 90s. He's dealt with things as a kid that most of us couldn't even imagine and then be expected to have to duplicate it success wise. That's a tall order for anyone.

@@aaronm8143 Aaron Mooneyham i'd suggest the kirkland fight first, then maybe the cotto fight. You probably know lomachenko, i'd suggest his jason sosa fight. Gervonta davis is also pretty good. There r others i like (Errol Spence, yves ulysse jr...), i enjoy watching textbook boxing

GGG le gano el primer combate y en el segundo los primeros 3 fueron buenos para GGG pero el resto de los 9 fue una carnicería total lo del Canelo al GGG, fue buena pelea pero conecto mas de poder Canelo, esa pelea era 100% para el Mexicano, que no se viera tan vistosa para el por los golpes es otra cosa, pero ya viendo la pelea algunas veces te das cuenta que Canelo se cojio a GGG Salu2 desde 🇲🇽

He dropped from two fights: first against angulo and then against martinez. He and his team said he was not ready to step in the ring. I'll let you think about what that means considering how bad already was chavez's attitude towards trainning camps.
