I thought it was cool to hear him explain/dispel myths around not only the Kanon Catchings situation, but also the springtime conversations with the senior class. Cool to hear it from the man himself. He's an honest broker for his players and his program. Proud he represents Purdue Basketball.

Sounded like he said Catchings changed his mind one too many times and Painter decided it’s time to part ways. That’s interesting

I wonder if not working to keep Gillis was the best decision for next year's team ?

Paint plays the long game. More people should try that. Keep Gillis probablyfor 1 more year probably costs us Heide and/or Colvin for 3 years because they proabably weren't too eager to get limited minutes AGAIN next season. Mason gave us 5 solid years, playing 4 of them. WE should be thankful for THAT! If not for COVID it wouldn't even be a possibility. Get over it.
