Here we got the Gold Touch 4-channel DisplayPort KVM switch.
This device allows you to connect 4 different computers to single set of monitor, keyboard and mouse.
I bought this to improve my work productivity, when I am required to prepare many computers at the same time.
As to be expected, the box contains many cables, some Velcro, instructions papers, wired remote control, 5 volt power adapter, and the KVM device main unit.
The KVM device is made of sturdy metal.
On the back side we have the power switch, the wired remote port, power jack, and the 4 input port pairs.
On the front side we get the 4 channel-select buttons, 2 usb ports and 2 audio jacks.
I am not using the wired remote control, but I guess its nice to have if you wish to keep the main unit out of sight.
So far I have been using this device with only two computers in parallel, and it works great.
You know, I really like these simple devices which just do what they are supposed to do without any issue and this is definitely one of those.
So if you want to improve your computer lab productivity, this is definitely a nice gadget to have.
