The TESmart’s Dual Monitor KVM is one of the top picks for its ease of use, support, reliability, and competitive price. The two-port KVM works precisely as intended. It shows a wide range of no-fuss compatibility devices like a 13-inch MacBook Pro, Dell XPS 13, HP Spectre x360, and MSI gaming desktop. All of these are displayed on my two monitors easily at 4K 60Hz. This does require two display-out ports on your computer, so your laptops will need adapters or docks. TESmart sells versions equipped with HDMI and DisplayPort for connecting to your computer. The VGA variant will only reach 1920 x 1080 at 60Hz on that monitor, as expected. Still, the others hit the 4K 60Hz maximum and can even up the refresh rate to 144Hz on a 2560 x 1440 resolution with compatible monitors. The HDMI version worked flawlessly in all of our configurations.
Join two 4K Cinema DisplayPort monitors to your premium desktop or laptop to experience superior screen, image, and video quality. The Dual View DisplayPort KVMP delivers a 4K resolution standard of 4096 x 2160 at a frame rate of 60Hz.
Designed for professional film and video production industries, the 2-Port KVMP supports environments requiring cinematic graphics resolution. Superior quality is also ideal for motion graphic design, animation, engineering, architecture, and media design applications. Maximize your high-end dual DisplayPort workstations by connecting them to the 2-Port 4K Dual View Display Port KVMP. Experience Cinema 4K resolutions along with rich bass and 7.1 surround sound while switching between both computers and sharing two USB 3.0 peripherals with the push of a button. Switch and access two DisplayPort computers from the push-button front panel or hotkey combination on your keyboard. Utilize the latest mouse port-switching functionality to change ports by simply clicking the wheel button on your 3-button USB mouse. The Power-on Detection ensures automatic connection to the next powered-on computer. With Multi-Stream Transport support, double your desktop viewing space by daisy-chaining each monitor to another monitor, accommodating up to four DisplayPort monitors. The built-in USB 3.0 ports provide connectivity speeds up to 5Gbps and compatibility with legacy USB 2.0 and 1.1 devices.
This dual DisplayPort KVM switch combines next-generation digital display standards with seamless KVM control. The 2-port KVM switch features audio and USB peripheral support and dual-display capability, making it easy to create a multimedia workstation that can switch between two dual-head or twin DisplayPort systems. With support for two DisplayPort video inputs and two different computers, this KVM switch helps maximize productivity. You can access multiple computers, giving you the freedom to multitask and increase your productivity. Each of the DP ports supports resolutions up to 4K for maximum screen viewing space. Using your computer's secondary HDMI or DVI port, you can also use low-cost adapters to achieve a dual-monitor setup. The dual DisplayPort KVM switch supports resolutions up to Ultra HD 4K at 60Hz and quickly drives two large DP displays. This makes it ideal for creating workstations where high-quality imaging is critical, such as for graphic design. The KVM switch features auxiliary 3.5 mm audio ports that let you share independent analog audio with your desktop speaker set from each connected computer. With independent audio support and dual 4K DP video, you get complete multimedia control between different computers,

Mate, this is more like reading the marketing brochure of each product. How about actually testing them and assessing their shortcomings and problems? That would be more useful.

It seems a glaring omission to not include the Level1Techs KVMs in the comparison. No, they aren't cheap.. .but that's because they are made extremely well. For those of us who want the "best", price is less concerning.

Hi Thanks for the video. Is there a switch or a docking station that supports 3 or 4 computers and outputs to TWO monitors? One of your demo items supports 4 computers but outputs for ONE monitor only. Kindly advise any alternatives how I can approach this. ( >2 computers with 2 displays) Thank you

I have a question that nobody answers how can I use the same keyboard and mouse on two PCs with two monitors but move them and write at the same time, that is, not press any button and move them instantly in real time so that both PCs do the same command, I mean opening a text document on both screens and typing the same thing on both PCs at the same time and moving the cursor.

5:17 I have had this one for over a year now. Not recommended. Switches to the other computer for no reason randomly. Can't tell you how many times my character was killed because I lost total control and switched over to my other computer. Very frustrating.

I have two computers. One for work and the other for personal use. The company gave me a monitor, but I already have one and have space for just the one I have. I want to be able to use my personal monitor for both work and play, so I need a device that allows me to switch my display between computers.

You can also create a KVM switch for your existing monitor. Every monitor from the past 10 years has a V switch and an USB hub. You can get a USB switch connected between your two pc's and monitor (as USB HUB to KM). I got mine from Aliexpress for 5 dollars. You only have to press two buttons instead of one switching KVM :P

So this is for 2022 right? These thing might as well be dinosaurs. Your overall pick doesnt event support usb headset. Not your fault with the equipment provided, KVM switches are at least in my opinion forgotten tech. Then haven't really keep up with the current industry standards and honestly for what they do the prices are bit out crazy considering the limited support. Will we pay it for the convince probably, just means some can come in and actually make a product worth it and charge likely $1k+ for it.
